Any ideas where to stack more mana in order to use immortal call? So far lvl 77 and I have never used it because I dont have 42 mana (sitting on 33 after the purities are buffed).

I have some on my ring/amulet but it seems its not enough =/

Im assuming your asking for immortal call on your switch to proc arcane surge, if thats the case then use the "Pledge of Hands" staff as Rico explained to get enough mana.

Outside of weapon swapping make sure your immortal call is linked to CWDT, preferabbly low lv, like this setup for example:

Lv1 CWDT Lv3 ImmCall Lv20 IncDuration then w/e Curse you use or Golem, etc, up to you

Thx for the reply but not really what I thought about.. I mean I wanted to solely use Immortal call when needed because from its description you can ignore physical damage for a short amount of time and I figured it was a good buff to use on a boss or so... or am I wrong and you guys use immortal call in other ways? Sorry for the noob questions =/

Generally, whenever you use CWDT + Immortal Call, the activation is an indicator that you're taking damage and acts as a grace period for yourself to react. Typically, this will come in handy as you begin mapping and fight Shaper/Guardians/whatever. Increased Duration gives you several more fractions of a second to react to skills and/or attacks your should be dodging and not face tanking. Some people also link various curses, such as Enfeeble, to give themselves even more of a buffer to get out of danger and pop a flask.

Hey Pros,

First and foremost thanks for being responsive throughout this thread and helping others.

Like so many others before me, I need some help. I can do maps/bosses up to T13ish, but often have crazy damage spikes that I can't seem to overcome and end up dying quite a bit (non ele reflect maps)

I'm thinking one of my primary issues is that I over leveled CWDT (just replaced with a level 8 version) and it's connected gems. Could you kindly straighten me out (even if it is ...play correctly)? I'll gladly provide any other info I've left out of this post. My gear is below. Thanks in advance!

Seems like your CWDT + Immortal Call aren't triggering...?

Ya sorry didnt see this one myself either, as the other gentlemen stated your gem levels are wrong and therefore not triggering leaving you exposed to burst damage spikes from porcupines, bosses etc.

CWDT is best left at a low lv, 1 for example, at lv1 you leave immortal call at lv3. CWDT only works when the linked gems are equal or below the level of the CWDT gem, so at lv1 CWDT is lv38, so immortal call at lv3 is lv 38, and then blade vortex has to be lv38 or below.

You can just click on my profile and look at my equipment/gems/links for an example if any of this sounds confusing, I have the build at lv90+ on standard and abyss, can look at either or.

You dont manually cast immortal call, the only reason its cast manually is to proc arcane surge on the weapon swap, a low lv CWDT+ImmCall+IncDuration is the #1 most commonly used link in the game between every build.

It saves you from getting 1shot from random spike damage, stop whatever your doing and set this up 1st, its not optional unless you want to lose an hour of gameplay and 40chaos in maps/materials b/c a porcupine or some random trash mob ganks you for 7k.

Thanks guys for the help :) so I shuold just do a setup like the one you described above with cwdt lvl 1 and the blade vortex/immortal call at max lvl 3? I've managed to keep cwdt at lvl 1 but I didnt know about the other gems needed to be low lvl also, so I got CWDT lvl 1, blade vortex 17, immortal call 17 and increased duration support lvl 18. So I guess I should replace all the high lvl gems with max lvl 3 ones? (increased duration support also?)

Thanks again for everything you guys rock :)
whats the leveling highlights for this build. couldnt find any instructions for 3.1

At minimum, you'll want to have CWDT (level 1) + Immortal Call (level 3) linked. That's the only very necessary requirement, honestly. Increased Duration is to give yourself additional time to react to bad situations where you need to back up and pop a flask. It will consistently apply to Immortal Call when its linked, so feel free to continue leveling it.

As for the last gem socket, you can put in whatever you want. Some people here have Blade Vortex and personally, I have no clue why that's even there. You can socket in a curse gem, such as Warlord's Mark (more charges...?) or Enfeeble (weaken overall incoming damage so you have a buffer/safety net), or you can ignore everything and use the slot for something you like, such as a golem or Decoy Totem.

Quick question: How important is the helmet? Since Abyss League started, Lightpoacher has been pretty busted. I've been looking into using Lightpoacher as an alternative (I have a lot sitting around) until I get currency, but I'm starting to feel like I can just keep using it.

Any advice is appreciated.

Yep got it now, my problem was that I had cwdt on level 1 but the other gems were lvl 17-18, and I also thought I had to manually cast immortal call from my hotbar. I don't really like blade vortex so I might go for something else, maybe a curse will give more dps boost or something. Going to buy some low level gems now, can't really afford to buy them at 18+ quality, coz I'm still saving for voll's, so I guess I Will upadte the quality of them later on..

Thanks again to all ;)
