[R.I.P.] life Mjolner done right by Rico - Juggernaut version - R.I.P. thx to "balancing" policy

This is juggernaut version and was juggernaut in 3.0. Berserker version in 3.0 was by madscream / ka0tic and was using vaal pakt which is now nerfed. Last time I did berserker was in 2.6.

Im lvling inquisitor because I was playing juggernaut last league, I know it was good and I can recommend it to people but at the same time I want to try something different this league. I was doing inquisitor version in the past as well. For now juggernaut is a sure deal while inquisitor is on the testing path.

How is viability in HC? ATM in Abyss SC and mayby gonna test it first there but gonna transit to HC ASAP i get to know if someone have played this build in HC and if something needed to change i would like to know how to improve survivability yo hit high tier maps.

Really loving this build. I moved my Berserker version based on Ka0tic's guide over to this one and so far so good! Rico, would you mind taking a look at my guy to see if he's looking alright? I'm a bit worried about the combination of gems I'm using and if I have them setup right. Likewise, if I did my tree right.

Also, my resistances are a bit fucked if I use TFU versus the rare belt I have on. This is also why I haven't bought a +1 Meginord's. Do I just need to try and boost my resists on jewels?

Thank you. So you think the Berserker version isn't as viable now because of the VP nerf?

Can you tell me where i can see if i'm already on that 3.5 aps cap for discharge? :/

I wouldnt recommend this build as your first build in HC. As your second - than yes. You need to have all the pieces of gear in place for HC. Lvling process in Abyss HC is kinda difficult due to those cracks in ground. I barely died in harbinger while lvling my toon. Now Im lvling another char and its different story in Abyss. However after that, assuming you have volls devotion and rest of the required gear - you will be fine. Just do some minor tweaks like change Devotos for rare helmet with +str and +life, change belt for rare one with +str and +90 to life and use good rare boots before you can have your hand on inyas. Aim for 6k life and above.

In Harbinger SC some people was able to lvl this character to 100 without much of an issue. The only 2 Bosses that causes some trouble was Phoenix and Shaper.

Few things. You're missing Arcane surge setup on switch (see in the guide). Also that green dream jevel: either spec into some cold res / all res (Diamond skin cluster) or remove that jevel and use something more beneficial (currently green dream has 6% chance to gain you a frenzy charge on kill).

Yes because it is now not even close in terms of life sustain vs those big hits (i.e. T16 Minotaur) to what it was before. However TBH no one tested this new vaal pakt with Berserker Mjolner.

Yes its under the Cyclone tab. You need 3.5 - 3.9 without TFU belt and 4.5 - 4.7 with TFU belt.

Overall I think the build is amazing, tonight I was able to kill 3 of the 4 guardians with no deaths (phoenix boss 1HKO'd multiple times regardless of 6.3k hp b/c hes just broken) and i was able to deafeat the Shaper with only 1 death having never done or attempted him before.

Obviously the build is immortal in any general map regardless of mods, I can hold down my cyclone button and watch tv on any t15/16 map through trash mobs regardless of mods but to see the build handle the guardians and shaper was a relief for me.

Currently at lv93, not even running the arcane surge secondary setup or righteous fire for that matter and have been able to pretty easily do all the content atm, including multiple elder kills, heres my junk atm.



My skill trees nearly identical to the guide;s aswell, I just go a little farther to the right and grab the heart and soul nodes and the +10-16% spell damage nodes below it.

Highly recommend the build though, such a drastic upgrade from the last 2 I have played, everyone says "Shaper/Guardian Viable" on their builds but the majority are only good for trash mobs and blowing crap up 2 screens away, this build actually does it all.

im lvling this build right now, and got the jewel reward in A5. Now i was wondering, i didnt see which jewels to take in this guide? Did i miss this somewhere, or is it maybe just obvious for all but me :D

Can anyone help me with this(not just which jewel from reward, also for endgame)? thanks alot

Anything that increases your discharge dmg (spell / elemental / aoe / fire / lightning - in that order) + life 6-7% is good. Best you can have is 16% spell dmg while holding a shield + 12% spell dmg + 7% life for a total of 28% spell dmg increase and 7% life. If u have problems caping stats or resistances than jewels are also good for that. It really doesnt matter what jewels you choose during campaign.

Just hit 61 and switched over from Sunder.
