[R.I.P.] life Mjolner done right by Rico - Juggernaut version - R.I.P. thx to "balancing" policy

there's a video showing dps? against sirus? i've played with build in 3.7 i want do that now in harvest league, some news? i got another version a little more expensive.
Well. With this build I finished convincing myself of having to uninstall Poe. Not because the build is bad, for the game itself. The level of frustration I had trying to finish the Uber Lab was very high. I never thought that I would have problems with physical damage. It was totally impossible to do, not because of the traps but because of Izaro. They increased the damage? !! (He was not buffed). The game has no log, there is no way to know what type of damage they hit you with, nothing. You have to guess everything. But well, anyway, the build was fun until I tried the last lab (and I don't want to imagine the rest of the content in the game ...). I just wanted to share my experience, thanks anyway for the build.
Izaro is mostly physical dmg and some fire. Intresting that you had problems with him using one of tankiest build in the game where many players were able to kill him without much of an issue, many times before. May be, that something has changed indeed.

Anyway I just posted a guide on one of my recent Mjolner builds that can deliver high damage (finally). For now I dont plan to do any updates on this one here because of that. However I might revisit it at some point. Untill then I suggest we move on:

I did a slight modification of this build for this league for farming uber lab, this build has no issues. It's super tanky, and does plenty of damage. I got into mid-tier maps before I got enough to get my speed mapper going, and I'm sure I could push it much farther if I actually invested more than the like 60c total into it.

I dunno if I still have them. Anyway for one spell in Mjolner you need no more than 6 Cyclone APS if no CDR and no more than 7.45 aps if you have 14%+ CDR. For 2 spells in Mjolner you need to double that.

Ascendancy order: Undeniable, Unflinching, Unstoppable, Unbreakable.

I've enjoyed playing this build for a long time time now - thanks for this Rico.

This harvest league a couple of items seem to have opened new prospects: 6L-white-socket Kingsguard & a ring with Elemental Weakness Curse on Hit.



A few questions & thoughts:

1) Can the lvl5 Curse-on-Hit ring be considered?
It's a 15% difference (24% vs 39%, compared to a lvl20 gem / 20% difference with a Q20) but it does free up 2 support slots on the Kingsguard.

2) If yes, which supports to consider
I'm currently running with Culling Strike and Inspiration Additional Accuracy (gets us to 100% chance to hit).

3) Cluster Jewels & higher resists
Cluster Jewels (CJ) have helped reduce Mana Reservation and raise uncapped resistances. I'm currently at 86/85/85 unflasked resists. CJs with Pure Commander, Pure Might, Pure Guile, Pure Aptitude passives also give +#% increased effect of Non-Curse Auras from skills.

4) A fourth aura
There is now scope for running an additional aura (those with up to 35% mana reservation: Flesh and Stone/Discipline/Vitality) or a banner (10% reservation).

Discipline currently gives ~625 ES @lvl20 leaving 135 spare mana (163 mana with lvl3 Enlighten, 275 spare mana when using a CJ with Self-Control passive, so no need for the Inspiration gem).

Would you suggest a different aura?

5) Righteous Fire
I'm into red maps and haven't used Righteous Fire yet (of course, might be required for end-game bosses). This leaves me an open 2L. Would you recommend any combo?

i feel like discharge have a big buff in this patch... maybe this build can be awesome again like old times!

The high discharge cooldown killed the build i think! Sad...
