[R.I.P.] life Mjolner done right by Rico - Juggernaut version - R.I.P. thx to "balancing" policy

Enjoying the build, thank you. Please correct me if I'm wrong here, I'm trying to wrap my head around how often I'm getting discharges.

Without the belt, I would want the cyclone tooltip to be at 0.5 to get 4 discharges per second, if I'm even a hair under that it would only proc twice per second.

With the belt, I would want the cyclone tooltip to be at 0.4 to get 5 discharges per second, if I'm a hair under it would proc 3 times per second.

Having the cyclone attack speed a little over in either scenario would not make a big difference.

Without TFU you need 3.5-3.7 APS cyclone or just above 0.25 attack time.

With TFU belt you need 4.5-4.7 APS cyclone or just above 0.21 attack time.

Having a good time with the build. No idea what I am doing, but having a lot of fun doing it.

I am at level 65 and just about to start maps. I was able to switch over at level 62 and have all the equipment I needed except that to get enough int I need to us the Astramentis amulet. I should be able to replace it with the Voll's when I turn 66. Also I am having trouble getting the GGGRR and have settled on GGRRB until I can afford some more chromes (I swapped out Additional Accuracy for Concentrated Effect).

I have two questions.

First the only time that I have died after switching over was when I tried to use 'Righteous Fire'. I understand about stopping it by using a Dousing flask, but I could still not keep it under control. Does anyone have any idea on how to use it safely or what I can add to mitigate the personal damage? Or as an alternative, what can I replace it with?

My second question is that I initially started using Arc, Discharge and Life Leech in the hammer. I see that the OP also uses 'Discharge', 'Controlled Destruction' and 'Elemental Focus'. I am curious what the difference is between the two setups and if and when I should be using the later?

If you want RF running permanently, need as much life regen as possible through tree and items, utilize pantheon powers, and as much max res as you can muster. It's ok if RF kills you very very slowly when you aren't actively killing, but if it's burning you fast then gotta get more regen.

Pantheon powers: Solaris is good; the major that reduces damage over time and the minor that reduces fire damage over time are both good for RF as well. I personally use solaris for the 8% reduced elemental damage taken when haven't been hit recently (secondary power - it affects RF), and then the 25% reduced reflect.

You can also utilize a boot enchant on your inya's, 2% life regen when hit recently is very good for RF and in general. So when I don't have my 2% regen running, I benefit from solaris 8% reduction, when I have been hit, my regen is overkill thanks to the boots :).

Max res through voll's corruption, and/or empowered POF or a POF in +2 or +3 gem levels unsocketed ring. Also, the higher the life recovery roll on your Flow Untethered, the better for purposes of keeping up RF. It's basically lots of free regen, and the difference between a 15% and 20% is not insignificant.

Getting to the point where you can maintain RF permanently (outside of 40%+ life recovery reduction, ele weakness, or -max res maps) is pretty nice and something to shoot for imo. It's a massive amount of damage for both discharge and also just the RF AoE burn, and the QoL while mapping is great -- anything your discharge doesn't hit or finish off, the burn damage will. Allows you to simply shield charge around rather than cyclone a lot while general mapping.

Spam that ruby flask + chalice while mapping if you're life recovery isn't high enough just yet. Looking at your tree, maybe consider dropping one life node (the 5% at the top perhaps) for the 0.8% regen node near marauder start. Though I haven't plugged you in to POB, so I don't know what your overall life regen looks like. You want to be at -50 to -100 at most without endurance charges or fortify, and then net positive with. -50 to -100 (or even lower like -20) with no buffs is solid because it can be reduced by Pantheon powers and regardless will very very slowly tick you down.

Discharge only setup is to be used with Volls Devotion, Kingsguard and Unrelenting passive. Before that use Discharge with Arc and Life leech.

Just dropping in to update you on my char. I can reliably clear up to T15 and managed to kill Chimera Guardian. Sadly i failed on Minotaur, Hydra and Phoenix. I concentrated on the defensive side, but i'm starting to think about getting some more damage. I'll be thinking about this when i hit level 89, which should get my Berserking passive and get me closer to 5 attacks per second. Decided to get a Stone Golem for more life regeneration, and it actually helped quite a lot, getting my regen to quite high numbers with charges and fortify.

Once again, thanks for the guide!

Yes for Guardians and Shaper you must have good DPS, so lvl 20/20 gems, lvl 91+ character and 4.5-4.7 aps cyclone with TFU belt. You dont want to have more than 4.7 aps cyclone (was explained in the guide).

Anyway good luck on your next attempt.

25% Bleed avoidance with blind immunity (captured T8 Cementary soul) and movement speed + physical dmg reduction per x number of enemies.
