[R.I.P.] life Mjolner done right by Rico - Juggernaut version - R.I.P. thx to "balancing" policy

Firstly I would like to say thanks for the guide Rico!

My question is what can I replace Inya's Boots until i gather enough currency to buy it.

I'm playing on standard.

Thanks.

Would these suffice ?

How do I calculate if I have 4 or 5 discharges/sec??

On my offense screen I got 3.92 APS, with flasks it goes to 4.26, but I have 15% CDR belt and it doesn't change, so I'm kinda confused.

Yes those boots are allright. You can also use Death's Door if u happen to have one pair.

Probably it's a dumb question but right now I'm a bit confused.

The Elemental Overlord passive gives you 40% extra damage when you crit while the Romira's Banquet gives you Power Charge when you don't crit otherwise they will be lost. I don't get it why this passive with such a build with a low critical strike chance.

Maybe I've misread something? Thanks in advance.
You didnt missread, you dont want to crit except for the bare minimum, if you crit more then that the dps goes to absolute trash. Run an uber lab and get the diamond shrine (always crit) and youll see what I mean, youll do nearly no damage.

Rico lays out out the synergies pretty clearly though and this isnt one of those half baked theory-crafted guides, everything here works in rl. Ive taken it to 95 and 96 myself on standard and abyss, just follow the guide, later on you can make some small tweaks here and there to the skill tree and decide wether or not RF is for you but the core of the build such as EE and overload cant be messed with.
So i really want to try this build but like others i don't know whether to do the Inq or Jug version of the build. Is it strictly down to whether you like lightning strike/molten strike vs cyclone? Is Inq better dps but less safe while jugg is slower but you almost never die? Thanks in advance.

I know Rico has said several times the templar version is basically more dps and less defense, and the juggernaut version is the opposite.

However as someone who has taken this build to 95 on 2 different leagues I can say the dps isnt trash, if your used to 1mil+ shaper glass cannon builds then yes, this will feel like running underwater but the dps and clear speed is perfectly fine and as you mentioned the important part is, you dont die.

With the absolute trash map drop rates and the over-inflated cost of everything my #1 priorty is to not lose 4 hours of my night and 30 maps b/c of some random nonsense killing me. Atm I have to run 3 full maps to get 1%, ONE PERCENT exp of a lv b/c of this absolutely pointless exp nerf thanks to the streamers in full ggg mirrored gear that cried lv 100 was too easy.

Unless you just absolutely hate cyclone id choose this one, you can stack quite a bit of spell power on this build and do respectable dps.

Thanks for the response! One more question. In the original post it mentions using RF but i noticed you aren't using it and instead using Vengeance/Curse on Hit/Blind/Ele Weakness. Is that better?
I play the build slightly differently but theres no better or worse, its just personal prefrence.

I dont setup for 5 discharges, RF, or bother with the weapon swap. I also carry more life, regen and overall mitigations, for me idm taking a little bit longer on a boss, the trash is all 1 shot either way so slightly longer boss encounters make 0 difference to me, its 1 of the reasons I prefer culling strike, that alone takes off a free 10% of the boss's life.
Is it useful to implement the old MOM/EB + ES on hit jewels method in this build? EB is just 4 points away and MoM is right beside our tree. Wouldn't it make us much more tankier against an enemy like, say, uber trio?

These levels are soul crushing at this point.....man.

Finally hit lv96 tonight on abyss version, its just so hard finding the motivation to map b/c you know its like 0.3% xp per an entire map regardless of tier.
