" What matters on saffels is +4 to all max res. Up tp 30% spell dmg and 14% all res is also nice. Post your shield. Latest guides:

Ya I doubt it will be any better or even remotely comparable b/c the max shaper +maximum resist roll possible on a shield is only 1.

It's nothing terribly special, but I didn't realize the +Max All Resistances did that much for us. | |

Lets say you are going to be hit with 30k cold dmg spike: Without Saffels: 30000 * (100% - 79% [your max cold res with just purity]) * (100% - 20% [your fortify, lets skip 25% increased fortify effect for simplicity]) = 30000 * 0.21 * 0.8 = 5040 dmg done to you. Now with Saffels: 30000 * (100% - 83% [your max cold res with purity and Saffels]) * (100% - 20% [your fortify, lets skip 25% increased fortify effect for simplicity]) = 30000 * 0.17 * 0.8 = 4080 dmg done to you. You need total of +1k life from your rare shield (after all the %increases from tree) to be somewhat comparable. High base max resistances are a large part of this build tankiness. The only unique ive ever considered swapping out was Inya's Ephinay for Death's Door boots but never went through with it b/c the no life on the DD boots is too much of a deal breaker for me.
I would be ok losing some dps on the max power charges b/c DD has an extra endurance charge so it shouldnt be too big a dropoff. I just fkng hate bleed. Im always leveling in the 94-95ish range where every map, even t15 gives a total of 1% exp so im on complete autopilot not paying much attention, it just takes 3 or 4 seconds of not glancing at my health to lose an hour of play time and 80+ chaos b/c there was a corrupted bloodline mob in the last pack. | |

Back to the point of having no desire to level further....95 on my abyss version now. Sadly developers listen to the 1% in most mmorpgs, these streamers in GGG mirror'd gear who wipe their as* with 200ex that say leveling to 100 is too easy.
Between the xp nerf and the terrible map drop rates I get less then 1% exp a map, and thats including t14/15s. I really wish theyd look at their data for the majority of the people that play, not the chosen few who have 47 posts about how they farmed 10 mirrors in the 1st week of X league. Anyways... Builds still amazing, settled in on this version for myself, lets me just hold down 1 button and facetank everything so i can see what my 2yr old is currently climbing on or eating in rl. Between my mitigation and regen every things just a j/k and my spell power is still easily high enough to melt everything. OP as fk Other jewels are the usual spell damage, spell damage while holding a shield, and all resist. Ive been able to collect a full set of 4 line SpDmg/SpDmgShield/AttSpdShield/AllResist though between this last league and standard so when the league ends I can be super sexy on the ghost town server. (i know i know, 2 of the purities arent lv21, my next batch of 20% purities and cyclones is almost lv20 and ill corrupt those, hopefully thatll finish me in full 21/21 and my ocd will be sated) Last edited by JCOH35 on Jan 26, 2018, 3:45:26 AM
