Personally I have no problems at all, playing from Tokyo. My ping is consistently around 100ms.

Believe it or not, 100ms is not really good enough for lockstep. I know some of us tricked ourselves over the years to work with high ping but if there's a chance to get yours down to double or even single digits, fight for it.

I personally dont think Japan would be a good place to get a gateway.
However South Korea, or East China, It would be a good place for Japan, China, Korea and even a part of Russia to get much better pings and cover the issue for a wider playerbase then just Japan

Chinese servers would add fucking RMT all over the place and screw the game, that's basically what Garena is already, that's what China does, no thank you.


Japanese gateway is going to be opened on Monday anyway, we are just being grateful for it now :)
