[2.6] NOT HoWa Claws / Lightning Strike 300k+ ToolTip / 74|50 Dodge / SUPER Cheap / starter friendly
" Yes, I remember! Your CI crit dagger build was actually one of the first guides I followed after starting the game! I actually have my attack in place binded to space, making it much easier to manually stop when I need to. This also lets me chase down single targets using melee damage of lightning strike. Yeah, I sort of forgot before writing the guide that MPD didn't apply. While it doesn't apply to projectiles, I have still found it quite useful against higher hp enemies and bosses. But I think replacing it with faster attacks or maybe elemental focus might be the better choice. ign - happycabbaged

Thanks for the answer. :P Blade Flurry just seem to be so easy to scale (people use it with 50-100 DPS weapons and it wrecks everything). Even after severe upcomming nerfs in 2.6, it's probably gonna be easy no-brain choice.

Updated tree for 2.6, build has gotten significantly stronger with the new claw nodes. More crit with no drop in survivabilityA 30k dps increase with just frenzy charges up (150k tooltip dps) and 50k dps increase with everything up. (300k) Updating the guide sometime later

Think I'm going to give LS a try since I find I just don't like frost blades. How would you level this? Shadow first, then duelist, then claw and crit around 68 when you can use the claws?

" I'd go duelist first for more survivability and versatility. Hp is nice to have since you'll likely be one-shotting most whites anyways with some decent leveling uniques. Dps nodes are much more generic as well so you aren't restricted to claws as you level. The leech is also really nice to have early on, especially for the mana since the build has pretty awful mana sustain until you hit late game. Around 68 when you can wield ToG, I would spec into the claw nodes then since they are powerful and will likely make a difference, especially the ring on the right side. The crit stuff itself won't really make much of a difference until late game. ign - happycabbaged

Hello.
Since it's a 'starter friendly' build, could you split passive tree for 3 or 4 parts to show beginners how they have to build up character? Few tips, for leveling with this build, would be very nice too. |

Touch of Anguish is 20+ c at the moment, think we can thank frost blades hype for that one :D

" Thanks for this! I've updated the passive tree section with a few tips as well. If there's still any questions, feel free to let me know. ign - happycabbaged
