PLEASE let there be 4 major defenses this league. (Block, Evasion, Armor, Energy Shield) Stacking ANY of these should allow a good defense and be able to be layered with Endurance charges and enfeeble, or whatever else. People talk about how OP ES is... but you need 3 (which is all of them) prefixes on your gear... life you need 1. The reason ES is so OP is because it survives one shots (which is basically all that kills MOST high level chars) and armor/evade/block only help against multiple small hits, and armor usually only reduces the damage of things that wouldn't kill you anyway. ES protects against volitile blood AND small hits (with life leach, and maybe VP) whereas armor protects against physical attacks, evade protects against Attacks only (and there are mods that ignore evade entirely) and block... well, at least block works on everything, even if one shots still kill you because you can't get enough life/ES while stacking block to avoid high damage hits that WILL get through.
Still... HYPE. I am super excited to check this out. I just hope there are multiple ways to create a char (all RELATIVELY the same budget area) to survive the attacks. It would be nice to see a better balance of Block/evasion/armour/es this time around... I get the feeling we are just going to nerf ES and tell the community to run enfeeble, endurance charges, max armor, and max life for some reason. I guess I will have to buy a one way ticket to hell with your lives

Will they be as large and monstrous as the two named above? Probably not; we might well be seeing a more refined version of this treatment - Oriath's analogue of the Super-Soldier serum, if you will. I will again take the opportunity to voice my opinion that a Blackguard regalia pack is long overdue for addition to the roster of purchasable outfits. Here I witnessed a moment of history. A company so awesome that goes in direct opposition to Blizzard entertainment.
blizzard has chosen the path of laziness and greed. GGG philosophy is we make great free content and the players shall reward us for it. You deleting the difficulties which was just copy pasted content is one of the best moment in my gaming history. After I saw the new I shouted in shock. Its like Blizzard saying now no more laziness. Now we will make a new raid like Black temple with progressive difficulty and many bosses. Cant wait for the new update. Here I am playing shitstone and dunno even why. |
