Can Knitted Horror's please get added to dried lake Desecrate table?

They are one of the few if not only monsters in the game whose corpse won't show up when the desecrate skill is used. With the new found ability to add a corpse type to your table once a specter is summoned this should be an easy fix and a huge QoL improvement for people who want to use this specter.

If it's not possible maybe an explanation why?

Thanks.

They aren't already? The zone just has to spawn with Knitted Horrors, which it does not always. Dried Lake has a few different sets of mobs it can spawn.
U MAD?
Nope... you can go into dried lake and even if they are present you can desecrate to your heart's content and the corpse will never appear.
This can't happen because there is no "desecrate table". Desecrate spawns monsters of types that are preloaded for the area, minus any that are explicitly excluded from Desecrate because they can't be desecrated for mechanical reasons.

It can't spawn non-preloaded monsters for performance reasons, and it can't spawn anything that's excluded because the only reason they get excluded is because can't work with the skill.

Knitted Horrors are marked as non-desecratable monsters, which means there's some issue with spawning their corpses. I don't know off the top of my head what the issue is in that case, but unless the monster changes in such a way that it becomes no longer an issue, they can't be desecrated.

They are certainly not the only monsters excluded in this way, for a variety of reasons. There are quite a number of exclusions.

Maybe because when knitted horrors die they spawn three Voll's whatever dudes? So creating their corpses with desecrate would also cause Voll's Dudemen to spawn, alive or something?
U MAD?
Yeah, that'd probably do it. Most monsters which do things on death can't be desecrated.
Thanks for the clarification Mark.

I'm curious, is there a list of the exclusions available that you could find and possibly post?

If you'd rather I ask with a specific inquiry, could you look into why a "Hairy Bonecruncher" corpse from the "The Old Fields" doesn't appear via Desecrate.

I'm still interested in my above question. I don't know if bumps are allowed in this part of the forums, but here's my little bump.

What do you mean "new found ability to add a corpse type to your table once a spectre is summoned"? there's some new change to how descrate works?
