That might be the reason why Dunkleosteus did go back insulting you (and it does not help the image of your maturity that you cannot overlook this insult yourself). LoL, well.. THATS a motion to provoke attention prior to releasing the new league (bad attention is better than no attention as they say). But truly this is quite a lame move, unless POE dev team wanna introduce machineguns, bazookas and other WW2 stuff into the game, i find the Nazi-theme art completely lame and unoriginal. Poe doesn't need to go "there", you can do better, Its enough we have them in reality, there's no need to have them in videogame's too, please reconsider your actions.

GGG, this is easily the dumbest PR move I have ever seen from a video game developer.

Path of Exile is a community game. If the vast majority of the community dislikes the art direction, then GGG had best listen. There have been a plethora of game companies in the past few decades who have withered and died just for this reason: for ignoring the community that created these companies in the first place…

Very Soon GGG will join the scrap pile like THQ and 2K Games. I said it first!

Here we can see the problem of our modern society. Those guys on the art - they are our enemies. And we will fight AGAINST them. Against slavery, cruelty, their totalitarian army or something. But people don't want to fight. They rather close their eyes and prefer not to see anything like that. Just like the real world. Such things are real even now in the world and most people just pretend it's all in the distant past. Pity.

Whats with the Nazi like theme?

Even if you aren't offended by the Nazi like themes, the lack of creativity in the design is pretty disappointing and it hurts to say that about my beloved GiGiGi. Pretty ballsy to front your xbox venture with something like that too but i'm obviously no expert. S&M Nazi birdmen or not, i'll still be about.

Whoever is offended and its German.Two advice's

1.Concentration camps and experiments and torture devices where already on game.Piety and blackguards is so freaking obvious...Latex exists,see silk and his butt,along all miscreations.The pile of bodies..you got your holocaust in this game for years now.

Also the religion christianity being portrayed as bad,is Also too obvious.Not anyone read Poe's lore till now?Oh that's right,symbolic imagery.Which bring myself to the second point

2.Look yourself at the mirror.Realise from where you came from and who your grandparents followed and died for.Realise why you are the strongest economic power in Eu,for reasons too obvious to neglect.Your new oppression tactics comes from economic deviances.Being more subtle not anyone caught this fast.Countries waking up,Eu is in shambles.

Your history,even if you find it offensive must be a reminder to why humans must not be total dicks with each other.What you got breed into finding it offensive is another reason why you must be ridiculed.We learn from past mistakes.If we selectively dismiss historical facts and not having them reminded,we will soon make the same mistakes.

So,humour them,make fun of them,even when you feel the opposite in the society you got breed into.Define yourselves today knowing your dirty past.

Who is this guy on a picture? Why he's wearing this armband? Care to elaborate armbands system of Oriath Party (or whoever those guys are)? The "iconic" one (with pure red background) was sign of a Political Leader Candidate. Is this guy a party candidate?

Why he's wearing plague doctor mask? Those were used as a protective measure along with from-head-to-toe protection clothes. Why this guy is half-naked then?

Yeah, maybe that's the answer. A mishmash of easy recognizable bad guys cliches. Don't fit the lore? Who cares about this lore anyway.

And to think that this was approved by GGG and green-lighted for printing. So sad. So very very sad.

I think it was simply a try to piggy back on Slavery and Dominance theme props.
I mean look at Daresso. He clearly wields rapier, but uses it differently. Rapiers are meant to be thrust and not swung in a ballet performance.
Or entire Act 4 Mines theme - Organic discomfort horror.

They are trying to make things relate, but not that much.

At least its European related theme again.

Maybe that snow zone will have a lot of sniper mobs. If i recall correctly, Finland snipers killed a dozen of soviet soldiers (and are famous for that). That's only "snow" related thing i can recall from WW/WW2 history.
