Why only NZ tho? are there some laws in place that prohibit anyone outsize NZ applying and working there?
I mean i have no doubt they have experienced people who will for sure apply and eventually they will find the people they are looking for,but if they did this world-wide assuming applicant is okay with living in NZ to be able to work there,i am quite sure they wouldn't have to make an announcement for recruitment.

companies employing foreigners must first prove to authorities that no new zealander is able to do the job.

while the outcome for employing specialists in their field is promising and worth the effort and money, doing the same for lower qualification jobs is not so.
