I think that is what, like 5 - 8% spell block. If you have a Watcher's Eye that gives you something else useful as well then it is probably not too bad. On it's own it doesn't seem that great to me but if it gets you to cap and you REALLY want to get there then losing a primordial jewel for it is fine. Watcher's Eye's do give life & ES so that's not too bad in and of itself.

Thanks for the answer.

I played a little bit around with PoB and came up with the above shared modifications.

I took spell block notes, edited the shield for additional 3% spell block. Watchers eye with spell block and tempest shield.

I threw out all mana reservation notes. Kept Temporal chains with blasphemy and will use arcanist brand (curse on hit is placeholder for this) with elemental weakness for boss fights. Flame dash as movement skill.

Will end up with max block.

Hello :)

ok, that sounds like a solid plan. You can put Tempest Shield in cwdt for automated uptime.

Should be pretty safe with 75% block chance even on harder bosses.

Hi :)

PoB updates so slowly after GGG hired the guy that I usually trust PoePlanner more. The PoB is basically identical from 3.09, but I try to update them as soon as the guy manages to finish PoB updates this league.

Hi Mika,

Wow, kinda surprised to see the golem jewels so expensive. Primordial Might almost 100c and Harmonies up to 25c for decent rolls. Almost getting flashbacks to when I started playing PoE and decided to try out a golemancer. That was back when Anima Stones were almost 3 EX and Primordial Might around 2 EX+. I remember rage quitting after saving up 2 EX over 2 weeks only to see the Primordial Might still going up in price!!

I think it just goes to show what happens when GGG stops the accustomed "loot explosion" that typically accompanies a new league mechanic. I don't think a lot more people are trying to play golemancers; at least I haven't heard a lot of hype for them so I imagine that the price is purely because way less are dropping. I'm sure that prices will start to come down at some point. I managed to bag an Anima stone and 5 Harmonies which is what I am going to start with. Probably run feeding frenzy in main links until I can get another Primordial Might.

Spoiler

Hopefully with some crazy crafting options we might see some really cool gear for minions in the upcoming weeks. I'm not really a crafter myself so I'll be interested to see what some of you others come up with.

Hope everyone is enjoying the league. Not a massive fun of the garden stuff but maybe it will "grow on me"!! XD

Hi, To the author,

I wanted to point out a weird thing you did for the passive tree. In the leveling links the starting build gets the talents "Practical applications" and "avoid interrupt while casting, Str and Dex" These two yield 35 Str and Dex, plus 40% chance to avoid interrupt. This is later replaced with the 30 STR and 30 DEX nodes on the way to get "Written in blood". Seems to be no reason to unspec these two to trade them in for worse nodes since it takes 2 points regardless, but the first ones are better.

Great guide :)

Yeah, I'm sure Mika will get round to updating the tree to include these now if dex / str are needed to meet gem / equipment requirements. Prior to this patch those nodes I think only gave 20 strength and dex total so were considered a bit less inefficient that just taking a 30 str & 30 dex notable since the build usually gets stun immunity from Presence of Chayula. Now that has changed and those 2 points are going to be more efficient. I honestly hadn't noticed the change myself and that's a pretty nice buff to those nodes; especially for low life of CI characters.

Hello :)

Gz on getting nice set of primordial jewel so early!

I think that the the price increase for primordial jewels is due to multiple Golems builds that are pretty popular and other minion builds starting to also ise Golems thanks to Carrion Golem. There are also builds that use Golems just for the buff, but still require the jewels to get enough Golems types out.

The loot seems to be getting less valuable, but thats partially thanks to worthless uniques accumulating league after league and lessening chance for getting a good one. Crafting seems like one of the best ways to make currency, or just flipping crafting material from hideout. I have crafted Crystal belts, minions speed rings, +1 Spec gem level boots and similar items that are easy to craft and quite valuable and also usable on the build.

I hope that you find something that you enjoy crafting and can maybe even use on your build, as it always feels best to wear self crafted gear ^^

Hi :)

Thanks for the tip!

I had not noticed the change and it certainly makes lot of sense to keep it now. In some endgame setup I used rings or other gear that caps the str or dex needs, so then using either +30 dex or str node makes sense as it eats only one node, but on all the other setups I changed the tree.

Glad to hear that you like the guide!

UPDATE

TREES UPDATED

All Pob trees are now updated to 3.11.

I also added "Practical Application" to most endgame trees (Big thanks to TwistedPower!) as it gives more dex and str now than two +30 nodes together.

EXPERIMENTAL SETUP

I have started to write about experimental setup in #6th message on the first page. I will add more theory and setup when I get some free time and have decided how to format the page. It should be quite short for easy update and to easily notice what has changed compared to default setup.

Hey Mika,

Thx for the advice. I have started to see a lot of stone golemancers in the last couple of days so I guess that is one of the reasons primordial jewels are in higher demand. I don't think that was too popular prior to last league was it?

Experimental build looks interesting. I look forward to trying it out a bit later on into the league. Well, a budget version of it anyway!

Edit: Nice - finally got one:

Spoiler

Can't wait to massively overpay for Might's next league too XD
