[3.14] Flame Golem 101 - Complete Guide To Golemancy, ✔️All Bosses Down, ✔️Necro, ✔️Elementalist
Oh farts, I hope EE is still somewhere on our path.

" Hey :) I hope it's just relocated between Witch and Templar as both are now minion focused classes. It's hard to imagine then removing it, as elemental minions are very balanced atm, and need the damage bonus with tougher bosses. Wow - that's a massive yikes if they have gotten rid of EE!!
Hopefully it has just been moved as you suggest Mika. Probably somewhere around Templar / Witch seems likely if they are happy for it to be based around spells / minions. Likely it is just offscreen above the two 3 point clusters you can see here. At least that is my guess. If they are more interested in it being an elemental hit kind of thing then it could be down somewhere in Ranger which would suck! Last edited by DrHarvey12#0114 on Jun 7, 2020, 3:32:39 AM

Hi. I plan to use This build on Next league, just one question, how Often the spectres die ? Especially in boss fight.
Thanks. |
|
" Basically never. You go into deep delve and they do. Maybe a few times a league to some weird mod, or Sirus storm type thing, but pretty much they never die. |

Good news; at least EE isn't mentioned in the Dev Manifesto which I am sure it would have been had it been moved significantly further from it's current point on the tree or removed completely. Highly likely we will still have easy access to it. Also no mention of minion nerfs so far. I think redemption sentries might see a nerf but I'm sure our TV's are safe. Speaking of which, are TV's still the best spectre to be using atm?

" " Hey :) I guess GGG is happy with minion for now. EE will most likely be very close to the old position, but just moved few nodes to make room for new skill-tree changes. I have more more info about Specs in past part of the post -> " " Hello :) Specs are very tanky and I haven't lost any of mine in long time. If you ever feel that you might start losing them, you can easily increase their defenses by adding more block chance, higher resistances and other debuffs to bosses like blind / hinder / maim. PLANS FOR 3.11 OVERALL Build has been doing well and I will update it to 3.11 when patch notes are out. I like to mess around with the build and test different stuff. Players have always been interested in it and checked my public profile for changes or videos for experimental gear. As guide takes already 95% of free chars on this thread, I will start new thread or Flame Golem 101 - Experimental where I will post latest experimental changes in very compact package. This thread will be my main thread and for this guide. Experimental thread will be for players who are interested in testing changes early and maybe provide feedback from them. NECROMANCER I have been testing "Goatman Fire-raiser" -Specs with Necro lately and have been getting great results. It can be possible that at least their Fireballs can "shotgun" on large enemies and their Magma Orbs can hit large enemies multiple times when they bounce. Biggest questions are if GMP or Greater Volley is better for them to maximize potential shotgunning and if increasing the area of effect for explosions gives more overlaps. They can clear maps with Flame Golems and have higher burst damage than TV specs, so they might be new specs for the build if tests will give good results and if I don't find even better ones. I have also been testing Animate Guardian with Singularity -mace and Innsbury Edge -sword to get instant hinder and 100% chance for maim on AG hit. I don't think that bosses have any resistance to either effect, and mobile bosses have been very easy to kite with this setup. Singularity had big area even before, and recently the hinder area has been boosted to huge. This setup also costs for 2c for weapons compared to near exalt for Kingmaker. ELEMENTALIST It seems that GGG might have fixed the Pledge of Hands for good. Damage is very good, but not as broken as few leagues ago. This hoverever still requires more testing. I will try to find alternative setup using : - Clayshaper + Clayshaper - Clayshaper + ES Shield - Clayshaper + Victarios Charity - Minion wand + ES Shield - Minion wand + Victarios Charity Overall the build feels solid and I'm finally more active in Poe as work starts to go smoothly. Feeling great for next league! ^^ [3.12] Flame Golem 101 - Complete Guide To Golemancy, All Bosses Down, Necro, Elementalist

" Hey Mika, glad you back, am going on early on Group SSF league but i defenitely plan to go on my lovely flamies later <3 Those Goatmen look nasty AF, i might go back to spectres in additionnal, maybe even a comeback on Necromancer ascendancy. Keep it up, even while not playing Golemancer, i ve been always following this post, keep doing a great job \m/ Last edited by kami_koi#1041 on Jun 16, 2020, 6:15:40 AM

Hey Mika,
Just to re-emphasise what Kami_koi said I think you have been doing a fantastic job of keeping this thread up to date and answering questions / queries in a timely manner. Honestly this is the best curated thread I can think of on these forums. I'll be back running flame golems next league I'm sure. I used to take every other league off but I think this will be my fourth consecutive league now running them so they are probably a permanent fixture at this point for me unless GGG really wants to kill them off with nerfs in the future. I will have a look at the Goatman Fire-raisers at some point probably. I tend to just run elementalist golems early on in the league and maybe re-spec them into a high budget version with spectres later on. I've not done that for a while actually so it's about time I threw a bit more currency at them! I've also never used an AG so maybe that should be something I look into; especially if I can gear it out cheaply with the innsbury edge / singularity combo. I will just remember to keep any that drop! I'm sure you will see more of me once the league starts. Until then stay well :) |

Hey Mika,
Just had a quick look through the patch notes and the new tree. Patch note wise I didn't see anything that really changes the current build. No nerfs to gloems / spectres although no buffs either. Necromancer unchanged so that's pretty great. Tree wise there are a few things for us I feel: Grave Intentions now gives a LOT of chaos res to minions (38% if you take the whole cluster). The ele res & phys reduction for minions in the Indomitable Army minor nodes are now 8% rather than 10% which seems odd but unlikely to be a massive issue. Enduring Bond has changed quite a bit but I don't think we normally take that cluster anyway. Fearsome Force now gives quite a lot more AOE - 49% increased AoE if you take the whole wheel and have used a minion skill recently. The minor minion block / spell block nodes on Decay Ward got buffed from 5% to 10%. I doubt that's all the changes for minions, it's just the ones that seemed we might be able to make use of. EE hasn't changed location on the skill tree, just it's orientation. Same with Golem Commander. Anyway, I'll be interested to hear your thoughts Mika but everything seems fairly positive to me at this point. Last edited by DrHarvey12#0114 on Jun 17, 2020, 2:43:07 AM
