Is merciless the optimal 3rd prefix for damage above WED or Flat Fire? Would you use Hatred or HoA with such a wand?

I can not find a situation where 42 WED or top tier flat fire gives more dps with the below tree.
For a different tree spell/fire/light will outpace even this ideal wand. It all depends on if you took tempest blast or not.
Wrath > hatred and you can use hoa but the damage gain is minor.

You want a wand like this. Fire damage can be replaced with WED or cold damage or simply an empty prefix.


The author has a section in the main post about wand crafting.

44 spell damage can be master crafted so no.

Tier 1 spell damage is ideal (79%).
T-1 lighting is ideal.
T-1 fire is almost ideal.
T1 WED is almost ideal.
T1- cold is slightly worse than T1 WED and T-1 fire.
Hybrid spell/mana is worthless.
