Hey guys, total noob crafter here - even more so for ele wanders. My question is simple: Is this roll good enough here to move forward and multimod on? I guess the question is if crit chance is good enough to justify a Master Spell dmg roll instead of a t1.. Sorry if it's obvious for some, I just don't want to make the Exalt-investment without being sure. Many thanks! Just a guess but I believe the wand you have there will be roughly equal or slightly weaker than the following: I did a comparison here: " Assuming all suffixes are: 38 crit, 38 multi, 13 ias except for brood chant which will be 27 crit and 12 ias and no CD. Foe bite: 2.45 Onslaught barb: 2.41 spell/hybrid/wed: 2.4 spell/light/fire: 2.58 spell/light/WED: 2.58 Brood chant after multi mod: 2.07 Spell damage, and high lightning and fire generally overpowers the much rarer spell/hybrid + wed combination. flat ele also rolls twice as commonly as WED and thrice as commonly as the top tier hybrid affix. The great thing about crowns is that you do not need a 360 exalt wand to do damage and in fact a much cheaper spell/ele wand will do 70-85% of the damage for less than 8 exalts. As you can see, brood chant will output 84.5% of the dps of a foe bite wand which costs 360 exalts - EDIT: 280 exalts. Yours will likely be a bit less, but comparable. The eternals are there, and they're more common now than ever, but I think there's a lack of crafters, who perceive a lack of demand. Also crafting wands isn't fun. For a different tree spell/fire/light will outpace even this ideal wand. It all depends on if you took tempest blast or not. Wrath > hatred and you can use hoa but the damage gain is minor.
