" The xbox kids have a game because of me.. And who said I wanted dx11? |

Bye PoE. I guess this is how it ends.
I don't know how I would feel if I had thousands of dollars worth of supporter packs bought (like some people here), now that I paid for some 12 years old to play on their TV a retarded version of my game ;_; I hope they'll fail hard with this version and return to PC only. Fuck Xbox, fuck consoles. |

Will it be possible to have custom loot FILTER on consoles ?
I mean it's really great quality of life to use it.Once you are used to it, never go back ! Last edited by okami29#7533 on Jan 19, 2017, 8:05:33 AM

cost of time and resources on dead console! feeble-minded move, you could fix preformance on PC version! but no, start a new project and throw resources into the mud! Moronic!

this is the end

Side note to all those asking for a PS4 version: PoE is written against DirectX, which is not supported on PS4.
Pooling resources into an OpenGL port would be something I would support. Mainly because it paves the way for a Linux version, which would instantly make me buy my first supporter pack (up to, say, 1k USD). I can't justify buying supporter packs currently because the game doesn't run all too great on wine. (and buying Windows is not an option) Speaking of wine, DX11 support is still a while off, so the whole DX11 effort in PoE has been a waste of work hours as far as my perspective is concerned (small minority, I know). I just hope GGG is aware of this and doesn't decide to shut all of us out by discontinuing the DX9 client at some point. (this uncertainty and lack of support is the main reason preventing me from getting supporter packs to fund this otherwise amazing game) |

" You're probably right. Progress, expansion, cash flow, more people, and development is inversely related to product quality... Also, the illusion that GGG is not in this for the money is quite laughable. Your "keep it small and simple" approach was lost a couple of years back. The D3 argument is like comparing apples and oranges. How much money and how big of a development team do you think Blizz has dumped into WOW, Starcraft etc. etc.? Games that I'm sure we can agree on are semi-successful. The reason that D3 wasn't a big of a mega success as its predecessors has absolutely nothing to do with too much money and too big of a design team. Ffs I don't even know why I'm trying to explain this. Jesus Christ. |
