Hmmm, this is the least expected announcement. And as a dedicated PC gamer, someone who's already worried about the state of the game (PoE becoming more and more fast paced and more and more unbalanced, not to mention the overall decrease in difficulty), I can't really praise this decision if I want to be honest, sadly. I'm afraid the risk of PoE becoming more casual is quite obvious. And if this is not the case and you want to keep the spirit of the original, then there will be basically two different games for you to develop - the "true", PC version of PoE, and a port. Which doesn't seem like a good thing to me, considering the fact PC version won't get your full attention.
This has been an amazing game that resembled good old times of gaming, with developers fully focused on their vision and following their own path instead of mindlessly copying the current gaming trends. I can't help myself but perceive the Xbox port as a threat to all the things I love about PoE, sorry guys. On the other hand, this is the standpoint of a dedicated gamer. Although I have all these complaints, I totally wish you all the best business-wise! It's great to see you're so successful and still growing! .) Well, this is just greed in it's purest form. Some are so preocupied to think if the could, that they stop to think if they should. Sinse it runs ok on the best possible pc and crap on everything in between it makes sense to release it on console sinse you only "optimize" it for one config anyway.
What the hell happened to this game? Such a shame, but i guess the audience for this game nowadays is people on speed that don't care for the journey, only the destination. Oh well, i got to play & enjoy it back in the day when it was good :) Thank you for killing it, it gave me some healthy, needed change. Ciao! “Close your eyes and let the mind expand. Will you offer a one time feature allowing the transfer of characters from pc to Xbox one? Elder scrolls online did this and I would love it. My pc is getting older and I play console more and more and would hate it if I couldn't take all I have on pc to the console.... Btw... Good luck ESO. PoE is gonna give you a run for your money!

My opinion. GGG is releasing PoE on consoles. Cool! at the same time, i do wish bugs and other fixes were spent here on the PC version of the game.
IF this turns out well, GGG will make PoE a muuuuuch better and stronger game in the future. I dont see why PC gamers are so sad and all about this. Im looking forward to it coming out on the ps4 so i can get my roomates to play the game. They want to, just they dont have a PC. All the luck in the gaming world to you, GGG!!! " Greed? Its a business who's mission is to make money play employees etc. Any video game company would jump at opportunity to be on a huge platform such as xbox and you would too as a businessman. All I hope for is games UI doesnt become consolized (see skyrim), a difficulty slider is added so we can crank it up after casuzlization and power creep continues and trade still exists on PC. Liked the video. I won't be playing on Xbox One but wish GGG all the best on this expansion of the business. I'll be letting my friends that own an Xbox One know about this when it comes out. RIP PS4.
