Additional Performance Improvements

I will be happy when You finally fix breaches for average PCs, especially Tul breaches. It's an awesome addition to the game, but when u die a lot because of that, it becomes frustrating and annoying quite fast...
And the disco effects under dx11 will be fixed when? It's been 2 months now.
More performance improvements are nice but shouldn't the issues with the previous ones be resolved first? Many users can't even use dx11 because of this.

I don't get it why is rendering on DirectX 9 with shadow "off" is comparable to DirectX 11 on "low"?

Souldn't they both be on low or off to be comparable?
Their not doign an apples to apples comparison. Their stating that the DirectX 11 renderer will now perform better than Scenario X, where Scenario X is the Direct X 9 renderer without shadows.

Effectively stating that those that use the Direct X 9 version without shadows will no longer have any reason not to upgrade to the Direct X 11 version with shadows enabled (unless they arbitrarily hate shadows for some reason). Performance will no longer be what holds people back from the switch to Direct X 11.

It seems odd that Shadows are forced in DX11. I liked the "light" experience in PoE. Everything seems more clear and it is easier to spot certain things that are otherwise dimmed down by the shadows.

It might not be as atmospheric as intended, but well, we grind for gears, not for visual fidelity.

thx :DD
sounds good
Hi there,

There's no point in performance improvement if we keep getting server error in the midst of our game and got rolled back. Please do something about it. Thanks
Great....so another week of rows and rows of crashing before they get it right....
No rest for the wicked.
Wait.... we have a working version of DX11?

Ha no...

Shadows ? Nobody cares :)

Sound great. I hope it can deliver.
One problem I had with DX11 support was that it force enables shadows, and those greatly reduce performance on my machine.
