We are seeing first hand why GGG needs to step in..

" You mean... like how you want the labyrinth removed/changed? Hmm... U MAD?
|

" Dude they have 700 "people", I only have myself apparently. The changes that I want affect a larger portion of the game and overall would improve the design, but nope better dismiss my claims because "i play too much" https://youtu.be/T9kygXtkh10?t=285

" I've personally asked for neither of those things. Clearly comprehension is not 'your thing', so I won't bother explaining my personal stance again, as it's a waste of time. |

" I don't care about the specifics of your "anti-labyrinth" stance. That isn't the point. The point is the hypocrisy of saying "only X number want this, so asking for a change is uncalled for", which mirrors pretty accurately what goes on in the lab-rework-crusade thread. U MAD?

" Of course you don't care. Caring would involve compassion. There are thousands of others who have not spoken up, fearing persecution by the forum bullies. I know that you know what I mean. |

" Compassion? Here we go again with the downright hilarious "victimization" of Labyrinth-haters on the forum. U MAD?

" Because you took a game design class and have all the numbers in front of you. No your claims are dismissed because everything GGG has done has shown that they are being successful with what they are doing. They have better numbers across the board. More players = more money. Money ultimately trumps everything no matter what Chris Wilson says in his PR shenanigans. You are simply being a petulant spoiled brat, as bad as the lab complainers. I despise the lab, and I think it's utterly stupid. However, I still do it and I don't constantly cry about it like you are in this thread and other threads for whatever reason. The game isn't 'casualized'. If you think this game is 'casualized' then the new DotA 2 patch must be full on idiot mode. Last edited by allbusiness#6050 on Jan 16, 2017, 3:30:37 PM

" I no more have the numbers in front of me then you do. Nor do I need an expertise in design to understand that casual games have a cost, especially if you want to claim "spiritual successor to d2" you must ask yourself if you've went too far, if you've given away power and item accessibility, because the game is harder then others, instead of making information more easily accessible. If that money comes at the cost of core principles, then GGG is no better then any other game dev. Time will tell if that is true or not, but the appearance is that Chris says one thing and the games direction and design says another. Except the lab you can just suck it up and work through it, I could suck up and play a worst game, but the lab takes a fraction of someones playtime, while my issues are present throughout my whole game experience. The new dota 2 patch adds another level of complexity, so not exactly sure how you think its more casual when there is now more things to theorycraft and adjust for. So just so its clear, the issues people have with the lab are a fraction of importance compared to core issues of the game, which includes massive power creep and gear acquisition to start off with, you know some of the more important aspects of ARPG games https://youtu.be/T9kygXtkh10?t=285

To OP, to all those on both sides of the line, GGG wont do shit, they are too lazy to fix trading, no matter how good the idea's are, no matter how much energy the community puts into developing, theorizing, or suggesting, it will never happen.
omg omg omg i have an idea... now it will be implemented.... MTX ADVERTISEMENTS IN THE AUCTION HOUSE UI game is being milked for mtx purchases for as long as possible, while the bull-headed creators sacrifice the game's potential for nostalgia. gg ggg Life will be technically better Soon TM
