" 1: Fixed, do not use Energy from Within lol. Thanks for reminding me about that. 2: This build shatters and freezes, with our high cast speed it perma freezes most things, bosses are tough to freeze because a freeze happens when you deal a certain amount of damage in a single hit, depending on a monsters maximum life, so it's very tough to freeze bosses unless you focus on single hit damage and not overall DPS which I don't, but they can be chilled, which we do. There's also a couple freeze & chill nodes around the top of Witch tree you could pick up if you desire. 3: If you're looking to do a budget version my Marauder freezing pulse guide is probably better, it focuses more on defense rather than damage. You may have to pick up more life nodes to make a budget version work, but in general, my budget version listed here is fine for most things. 4: If you are tired of playing Witch, this version of the build, converted to Assassin is better, if you are using the dual void batteries version, which I don't really recommend right now but I haven't got around to testing out rare wands yet with this build. Hi, first of all, great job, i love playing my first witch by following this build.
I want to ask you a question, i dont understand how do my char could get power charges without the skyforth boots, i'm planning on getting those, but i still can't. I saw you get a lot of passives for power charges on the budget build too, but on it you dont ask for that boots as a must. At the moment i only get frenzy charges from the ice bite gem and endurance ones from my warlord aura. I know it is kinda dumb question, but i couldn't find the answer by myself. Thank you very much. |

Btw, Paigey, you can attach my thoughts about budget and occultist to your starting posts (if you want to, ofc). I dont wanna create my own guide, cause it did not contain something new, but it can be useful for new players.
I mean: you dont specify that your Freezing pulse build must be Elementalist based, and Occultists ability to generate power charges can save a lot of money. To argue with a fool means to sink to his level.

Hey I have a question to this guide, or rather the Budget. I have prob 450-500 Chaos to spend on this build to get it started, which item is more important? Dual voids, skyforth (if they are that priced, idk atm) or smth else? Pretty interested to play this one, and I assume shaper should be no Problem if you know how to fight right?
