[2.5] CI/LL Blight CwC Poison Vortex over 2M DPS Trivialize all content [Tri-Curse/HC Viable]
Is this still as good after the ring nerf?

"Cold damage does not double dip with anything. Fire damage only double dips with the ignite portion of the damage. Neither cold nor fire double dip with poison damage. " The ring nerf was absurd in terms of damage for this build. Now you have to use two pyres to get an 80% conversion, while you got 100% with one ring before 2.6. But the worst nerf was Vortex's AoE radius tweak. The clearspeed loss from that is pretty big, sadly. The build is still playable with some adjustments, but I'd say that its overall strength is actually about 40% less than before Legacy.
Hey guys, I'm level 80 with this build and have around 9k ES, which is fine. But I'm having problems leeching on single targets; without atziri's flask up I just can't heal enough and end up dying or running around hoping my ES comes back without dying.
Anyone know how I can increase my leech single target without just doing more damage? I have the exact tree OP has and two legacy consuming darks but still don't do nearly have the damage he does, I have capped res's and around 12k average damage on vortex (buffed). Edit: I'm on standard so I have 100% conversion, and I'm LL with the LL tree "Too much clutter" -Witch, 2013 - 2017 Last edited by EightBitHero on Mar 16, 2017, 2:31:24 AM

" For single targets, do you mean bosses? If yes: 1. Are you switching increased AoE for Concentrated Effect in boss fights? 2. Are you always running Warlord's Mark? 3. Are you on a 5 or 6 link? 4. Have you considered the huge nerfs this build took with 2.6 when compared with 2.5?
" If you are running the "non nerfed" version of the build (which really doesn't exist because the vortex radius nerf hurts standard players too), and you went lowlife, you should be really fine in all the content of the game. I did all bosses quite comfortably in 2.5 with this build, and the only one giving me some troubles was Hydra.
" I'm LL with a 6L shavs, Yeah I'm switching to Conc, I'm running blashpemy warlords, witchfire and BV CoH Temp chains. I'm using Blight > CwC > Vortex > conc > void manipulation > controlled destruction Idk what the problem is, maybe build got nerfed too hard Edit: I thought only the AOE got nerfed, shouldn't the damage be the same? " If you are running 100% pyre the damage should be the same, but the aoe radius of Vortex should be smaller than in 2.5. I don't know what is causing you that much trouble. I had a breeze with this char, it was pretty easy to do anything in the game that I didn't even care most map mods. EDIT: concentrated effect support took a small nerf too, but it should do the trick anyways at bosses. Last edited by djnat on Mar 16, 2017, 2:40:00 AM

Actually, life leech was also pretty low for me. I have only played the build up to T13, but it was sometimes already hard there to leech back enough.

Leech is the not main mechanic of the build. If you are trying to compare it's leech to leech-based builds like ST or BV, then you will sadly be disappointed. Each Vortex hit will only leech around 2-3k ES ~3 times a second which is nowhere close to the high aps leech builds getting like 30k/sec. Some things you will be able to facetank just because the attacks are slow enough or you're hitting more than one enemy, but things like channeled abilities (shaper beam, Tul cone, etc) or quick hard hits (Chimera dashes, Phoenix lunging swipes, etc) are not really attacks you can facetank with leech. You'll need to WB out of them and let Wicked Ward top you off if you were slower on the reaction.

Anyone know what program OP is using to calculate his DPS in the screenshot in the FAQ tab?
