[2.5] CI/LL Blight CwC Poison Vortex over 2M DPS Trivialize all content [Tri-Curse/HC Viable]

I just tested it on another character, and Malachi's Vision adds chaos damage to spells. It also has good ES/Resists and the potential for ES and mana regen. Not sure if it would lose an enchant on transformation, but it would be very difficult/expensive to make it happen even it doesn't. Regardless I think this helm (without the enchant) would be a good semi-budget option for those that don't want to pay many ex for a good vortex damage helm.

Any tips for shaper? I thought my build was near maxed out unless I RMT a shit load of exalted or take two weeks off of work. I just got ass blasted by him. I watched a bunch of videos and failed the fight twice. Not sure where I went wrong, my DPS is nearly maxed out. I swapped out increased AOE for concentrated effect, seems pretty good but I still got the bullet hell without zana shield.

Something seems really wrong with my build, watching the OP video it takes me much longer to do damage. I'm guessing my damage is about 10 percent of the OP video. The uncreated fight takes me about 1 minute to do, you downed him in seconds. No clue what's going on but I have about 35EX into my gear.

I think I might have a mana regen issue but it's hard to tell, I think on long fights I swowly lose mana and I am not casting vortex often enough but often enough to still not be able to see so maybe I am getting vortex every .67 seconds or whatever. Is there any way I can test this?

Also is there any reason why I don't use 2 vuln flasks and 2 atziri's?

I'm an ELE playing Crit Freezing pulse, the build failed as every god damn cold spell using only COLD element. My late game is shit even with 300k DPS anyway I saw how you used Vortex and I liked your build.

However, you mentioned that this skill can be played as a CoC(Burn) or CwC(Chaos). I don't know which one to respec into as I don't know the differences in DPS between them. Respecting to an OCC is gonna cost me 1EX, the cost of the Tree changed is another 30 Regret and idk if i can get the energy shield you have without a shield.


I ask for your advice and a skill tree for the burning one incase it is better suited for me.

So you think potency of will node is better than the snowforged one? It doesn't show the damage in my tool tip, but I know that doesn't mean much. If you don't mind what order of priority would you place on these nodes: potency of will, snowforged, corruption. I don't have the path builder or w/e its called. I have never heard of it. Are these worth losing jewel slots for? I am running green dream, so I think I should probably keep that. Any advice appreciated.

CoC and CwC are vastly different playstyles. It depends what you are looking for. There are a lot of CoC Vortex builds out there (mostly Assassin/Trickster based). Those are the best ways to use Vortex, though, because there aren't 5 good support gems for Vortex.

I'd imagine you're struggling to keep EO active. You skipped Snowforged and don't have OOS/BV, which means you're relying on a 5% crit chance on Vortex to proc it.

The enchantment is not lost after corrupting Voll's Vision into Malachai's Vision.

What i wished to know was your opinion on how to salvage my ELE CRIT freezing pulse build. Would it be better to just to switch to Vortex CoC Ignite or take the Extra Mile and Change to your build? As your more experienced with the skill i just ask for your opinion.

Upgrade both your consuming darks, you have min rolls on them you can easily get higher rolls for around 10c each. Buy a 20/20 vortex for a bout 20c I am guessing. So those 3 upgrades alone should give you a lot more damage. Next obvious thing is a 5L Beast Fur Shawl, not actually sure how much that increases DPS because you have a 6L already.

Alright so looking at a Beast Fur Shawl 5L vs Vaal Regalia 6L it's definitely worth having the 6L to the point where I don't think a Beast Fur Shawl is even worth buying. Considering a 6L Beast Fur is about 300c minimum that's just money that should be going to Shavs.

Messing around with Path of Building I see an increase of about 1.75M DPS to 1.9M DPS. That's a decent upgrade but going LL and getting a 6L shav is about 3M instead. This makes me think that Beast Fur probably doesn't have a place in this build except as a stepping stone to upgrade to LL, at the least 6L beast fur isn't worth getting.

Just to reiterate, I don't think you need a Beast Fur Shawl, your next logical upgrade after tweaking resists and ES would be to get the LL build so a 6L shavs. Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way but a 6L shavs isn't much more expensive than a 6L beast fur. Looks to be about 320c compared to 420c for shavs. Of course you also need the presence of chayula for another 250c so really the cost is more like 350c but that's 350c to bring your dps from 1.75M to 3M whereas the beast fur is going ti 1.9M. I definitely think it's worth the wait, you can probably grind out around 40c/hour in lower red tier maps or higher yellows like shaped acid lake or mesa.
