[2.5] CI/LL Blight CwC Poison Vortex over 2M DPS Trivialize all content [Tri-Curse/HC Viable]

I am confused about one other thing with this build. On the gear with the following gems: cast when damage taken, blade vortex, curse on hit support, and temporal chains, do they have to be in a certain order in the gear for it all to function properly.

From reading the wiki, I was under the impression they must be listed in the order I have above for everything to trigger. This makes getting the colors and order very difficult.

Is it necessary to have them like this:

cast when damage taken ------> blade vortex(connects next to curses on hit, it moved my arrow)
|
|
|
Temporal chains<-------curses on hit support

reading it in that order makes sense to me that it would be, and the wiki seems to say that order matters with trigger gems like cast on ______

Please clarify, I have gotten conflicting responses from people and would rather not have to spam chromatics unnecessarily for all time.

cast on hit needs to be a higher level than cast while damage taken can use, so it will only be linked to blade vortex and not double linked
level is all that matters - you need to have cwdt and bv relatively low level (I used lvl 1 cwdt and level 8 blade vortex) and you need your temporal chains to be a higher level than the cutoff for cwdt. If you want to just do a 2 link you can just do low level temporal chains and low level cwdt and it will trigger, but the temporal chains is better at higher levels.

If you highlight the cwdt gem you can see what level it will work with as a trigger - for level one the requirements need to be 38 or under for what gem it's working with (blade vortex in this build).

At this point, I have a 6L and Red Dream and the damage is just silly. !

Do you put your red dream close to Mind over Matter node? So it reaches the Fire Walker node?

I was thinking of putting a red dream there, and then a green dream at the top to take Frost Walker.

My understanding of the jewel is that the passives don't have to be allocated within the radius in order to gain the bonus %. I could be wrong. However, if I'm right, the best spot I've found for my Red Dream so far is by the Templar, below Faith and Steel, because Faith and Steel gives 8% to all Res, and the Elementalist node, also within the radius, gives us 12% to all Res, totaling 20% as opposed to the Fire Walker and its 15%. If I had a Green Dream, I would put it at the top to encompass Frost Walker. If I'm wrong about the passives not needing to be allocated, I can move my jewel next to Mind Over Matter, since I only have Elementalist allocated, not Faith and Steel.

From POE wiki:

"Passives granting Cold Resistance or all Elemental Resistances in Radius
also grant an equal chance to gain a Frenzy Charge on Kill"

So it has to be in radius. We actually discussed those nodes like one page ago I think, and you gain more from taking the "Walkers" nodes. But I was thinking about having one Red dream and one Green dream, so they both reach their respective Walked node. Then I would get 15% chance for a frenzy/endurance charge respectively. Worth it over any other jewels?

I know it has to be in the radius, I was saying, I'm not sure if it has to ALLOCATED or not, while being in the radius. The reason I question whether it has to be allocated or not is because with other jewels with similar mechanics, such as things inside the radius, it usually says specifically on the jewel that the point has to be allocated. This one does not specify, hence my guessing it doesn't need to be.

I'm not sure what was discussed on the other pages, but Faith and Steel and Elementalist are both within the radius of the jewel next to Templar.

Reading comprehension sorry lol. You know how it is. But yeah youre right, seems like the best spot for it.
Ive found it better to just swap lvl 1 wither in for blight on huge hp pool boss fights like uber izaro, uber atziri/atziri, shaper, guardians, and maps with more life multipliers.

That way you don't worry about totems dying, as well as Blights damage isn't nearly as great as wither spam. Its just risky and time wasted trying to keep a totem alive if things go awry.
I love pie.
If I wanted to use the energy from within jewel, where would be the best location for it (I assume below and left of melding but want to check) and what passives would you remove from your final passive tree to make up the points? I assume I would need to take the four points in the wheel to get to melding and I am not sure where I should get them from.

Thanks.
Nearly died twice today to Uber Izaro because I'm too lazy to read up on his mechanics.
Surprised I haven't died so far. With some grinding tomorrow my weapon swap gems should be 20 so I can quality them with the recipe and gain some monstrous DPS.

On a different note I've bought and 5-Linked about 6-7 Beast Fur Shawls now. I wonder if it's cheaper to find a really good one and just roll over 5-Links hoping for a 6L? I don't lose much money doing it this way though. I currently have 3 5L's for sale in BHC. I buy them at 60C and sell them at 80C. That's a bargain for a 6S/5L but someone still had the nerve to imply I was gaming the market or something.

Oh, well. Have a clip of me nearly dying again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvmszttDZOk

You are right, the best location for EFW jewel is under the melding cluster.
