Hi, I want to try this but I never go es/ci before. 900 es 6l vaal regalia is a bit expensive for me atm so I wonder: what kind of es gear I need to clean t10/t15 decently? especially for the armor

I currently only have a 720 ES regalia, and a 270 ES hubris, both much lower than I would like, im sitting at 9.3k with discipline, this has been enough ES for me to do every guardian, shaper and uber atziri (farmed all 3, and not having many issues if I play properly). Red maps are a joke I kind of just 1 shot everything and bosses melt way too fast to ever be a threat

Thx a lot! now I hav to choose between flurry and st?? difference is just flurry for boss st for aoe?? or is it something else?

Hello there! I am afraid i need your guidance again.
I recently have bought Skyforth, and after respeccing these 11-ish points (playing ST version) I've got less DPS and less ES overall, it went down by like 15%. Any idea how can i fix the tree / gear?
Gear

I am at 6.88k ES and 88.6k DPS in hideout right now.

Hey! Looks like you've reverted back to the non-skyforth build? If you really want to go skyforths I would personally recommend upgrading the rest of your gear first. Skyforth will be a low-priority upgrade.

hi guys,im playing non-crit st build atm,and i wonder if this crit version gonna be alot better?(for lsc)
and if yes what i need to change in my gear then for crit version.

Crit will provide higher DPS if you're looking to try and get the most out of your build. If you don't really need to min-max your character, non-crit is sufficient for that too. If you want to go for crit, the only difference in terms of gear will be getting crit multi mods on your amulet and jewels.

My character is languishing in standard atm, but the screenshots in 2.5 was 7.14. I don't expect there to be significant change.

i think bfs asp should be 8+ to do good dps? atleast 7.5 in town w\o charges

Not really. There's no point having high attack speed if your average damage is low. An attack speed of 7 with an average damage of 1000 for instance is always gonna deal more damage per second than say an attack speed of 10 and an average damage of 500.

Does Bladeflurry still work well with this build?

Yup it should be similar to before.

is Uweavering Stance worth that 7 point traveling?

how about using valyrium or chayula and spending that 7 points on dmg or es nodes, woudln't that give more then ring/amulet?

As Invalesco said in his original post, it isn't necessary. Don't use Valyrium, it is already difficult to cap resists and having the -40% to Cold doesn't help. A rare ring/ammy with WED/INT/Acc/Resists > Chayula/Valyrium for this build, you will lose a huge chunk of damage should you drop it.

Yup, pretty much what AZN said, thanks for that AZN! Just to elaborate a bit further, its also not 7 wasted points getting to unwavering stance as at least two of those give you int, and the other 4 give you much needed strength to use WED. In addition, there's a nice 30 int node en route to US.

What's the best build for this as of now BF or ST? im torn between the two i love both skills i just want the better one at this point
.

I feel that ST has slightly better clear speed than BF in outdoor maps. In indoor maps both are comparatively similar. BF has higher damage for boss killing. It all boils down to what your priorities are. My advice is to level a character, use both BF and ST while leveling to get a feel of the two and decide which one you like better.

i like the detailed explaination in the faq for going crit, but also take into consideration that ele overload receive an extra gem slot, since you dont need Increased Critical Strikes. so the trade off for going crit would be 40% more damage + extra skill gem (faster attack/added lightning) + a few extra skill node.

Although I can see where you're coming from. By taking ele overload and receiving an extra gem slot for faster attacks/added lightning damage (both of which don't really add that much dps), you end up giving a potential truckload of crit multi. At the end of the day, it boils down to DPS and ES. My question to you then is:

If you opt for ele overload for the sake of that 40% more damage, that extra gem slot and a few extra skill nodes, will you then end up with a higher DPS on an end-game build as compared to a crit variant? If the answer is no, then your reasoning is kinda moot isn't it. Afterall, the bottomline is DPS + ES.

Hello ,i'm playing the St version ,things are great for the moment ,i'm sitting at 48k2 dps in hideout with gmp ,lvl 88 ,far from the 100k of the op,and i sont see how i can double my dmg .

any tips?

Hey! What's your tree like at the moment? If you have points invested in the witch ES nodes, respeccing them into DPS nodes once you get gear with higher ES will definitely be a significant boost to your dps.

Alrgith upgrade a bit my es gear ,done what u say ,dps goes to 66k650 in hid with 10k es .

Did u think it will not be better to remove the 3 points from acuity to take charisma and them run warth+disciple + Herald of thunder instead?

Thx for the tips.
Do you find you're able to keep up Power Charges with just the CwDT+BV+PCoC+ICS setup you have?

I just switched to HoWA from my leveling build, and started trying it out in Dried Lake with Elemental Focus in my links but I found the vast majority of the time I never had power charges. Only time I could get it was when I turned Vinktar on and shocked enemies that proc'd my Heralds of Thunder + CoH + Assassin's Mark, so I ended up switching to ICD instead of Elemental Focus.

I imagine once you get past a certain level of DPS the power charges and curses aren't terribly important?
Hello Folks !

First of all. Nice build there ! Was really fun to level and also i have a lot of fun of Mapping with it.
I did my Uber Lab on the first attempt but only with one key ( just for the safety and to get the 2 Points from it )

But now i did try to get a more key run and i think im way to squishy to farm uber lab efficiently with my gear but i dont know exactly what i could possible upgrade to get the most out of it.

I have like 2 1/2 Ex Budget at the Moment and would like to know what i should upgrade the next.
I know i have only a Shitty 5 Link Regalia but my RNG is so bad that i already rerolled the links like 5 times and im kinda stuck with the 5link.

So - maybe someone could help me to buy a good upgrade.

Gear
Spoiler

I have to say that i skilled the Claw Crit nodes instead of the ES Nodes at the Witch Start. So im missing a bit of ES because of that i guess.

Thank you all !

I did actually consider doing that, but for me it would only have resulted in a dps increase of 200 while also reduing my es by 200, reducing my attack speed (which would affect whirling blades speed), and also result in less unreserved mana (300 to 150), the combination of which I felt was not worth it.

You're welcome!

I did initially do what you did and swap elemental focus to ICD to proc HoT + Assassin's Mark. As you've then subsequently mentioned, I realised that there wasn't a need to try and keep power charges up while general mapping if you one-two shot mobs anyway. Power charges will be more useful in prolonged fights such as in breaches and against bosses, and this is where the CWDT-BV-PCoC setup comes into play, giving you power charges for that extra bit of damage when you need it, which is something that HoT + Assassin's Mark is unable to provide in a boss fight.

DPS is not gonna be an issue for farming uber lab with HoWA. The main limiting factor will be ES. Your ES gear is not the best i'm afraid - your boots and gloves should be the easiest to upgrade, followed by your helm. If you want to farm uber safely, you'll need to either get better ES gear or spec the witch ES nodes for the time being.

Would that work for boss fights in a ST setup? Generally I would have imagined you're not standing close enough to the boss for the BV procs to be consistent unless there are a lot of add swarming you.

i use this setup for lv 26 wrath and Discipline lv 26
lv 20 Lightning Damage with Attacks 16 to 248 more Lightning Damage with Spells 21%
lv 26 Lightning Damage with Attacks 23 to 375 more Lightning Damage with Spells 23%

Well for any t14-t15 boss u dont need this charge too , u can rape them with gmp ,but with slow proj for guardian ,shaper, uber u have to be close to the boss ,st dont go far,so yhea it work fine.
do i need to get skyforths if i wanna generate power charges without PCOC?
