where you take frenzy charges?

So i have a question... how do you deal with the huge amount of int you need in order to sustain int supporting gems? You just stop lvling them at some point?

Also, what do i do if i cant afford 5.5 exalted 6l belly ?

Overall the build requires you have 111 Intelligence to be able to use max level blue gems (Concentrated Effect Suppport being the highest). You start off with 14 base Intelligence and Phagenius' skill tree grants you +10 Intelligence due to Retribution. To make up the remaining 87 Intelligence, you need to either use jewels or gear with Intelligence on them. Personally, the easiest way is to simply buy this jewel here and place it by the bottom left socket near Acrobatics.

After that, you still won't be at 111 Intelligence so you can either use another jewel to make up the remaining or buy gear that has Intelligence on it. I'd suggest to just buy another jewel though such as the one below as getting Intelligence + High Life + High Resistances + Damage rolls on your gear is going to be very expensive and rare.

Hope that helps.

It sure did help! Thanks!
But wouldnt Fratile Mind will mess up my damage this way? or is it hardly noticable?

Anyways, im still at lost on what to do with my chest piece. I run around with tabula and get rekt at tier 1 maps :|
Got all the rest of the gear, dmg is pretty sick but survivability is not
Man this build is allot of fun and so fast...

Current spec:

Gear:

Tree I am aiming for:
https://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAABAIBAABeBLMFLQguDjwUcRR1FyYYkRmOGjgaVSKvZacj9iSdJbwnLy5TMHEwfDJ-Nug4UzpCOlI62DwFPL4-z0HQQzFHfkt4TP9Nkk4qUUdZ81oaW69fcGEhYlplTXt0cql07Xasdud6hHzZtMWCB4Kbg22E2YTvhmCHao19jb-QbJBVmjuuUJuNn9-iAKOKpMKpJ6mUrKq8n702vea-p8BmwzPPftCt02_TftQj2NXZfNrB20_dqN-_4MPqGOw47YPuDu9673z3Mvjrwuzz3WhlhXtmVAW16NYi6sM6KjgM8qXLYqxsjJ2qN9TtP3fXVvrdRmOnEYE=

Questions:
- Opinion on my tree?
- I felt like I need BM (life 5.5K and mana issues)?
- Splitting strikes instead of vitality void (also got blood drinker)?
- Once I get the right sockets I'd like to have two CWDT setups. What do you think of this?
"
CWDT (10) + Incr dur + IC + vaal cyclone
CWDT (20) + MS + Enf + golem (prob vaal haste in last slot)

Probably going with carcas of belly if I manage to 6L one but for now this chest has to do. Or perhaps I'll stick to this one once I get that amulet.

Oh and yes I am using fort in cyclone and WED in leap slam, just swapping them since I felt damage was good but survivability isn't on par yet.

Different spec idea:
- Did you ever try running this build without VP? Perhaps with vitality void + Axe cluster + Blood drinker (and BM for more max hp)? Could even go carcas and spec marauder area for more life regen?

@ foojin

The first thing i noticed is your CWDT setup.
the wiki reads as follows:
"
Vaal skills themselves can not be activated by trigger gems, they can trigger other gems however.

That means you wont be able to use any vaal gem with trigger skills like CWDT.

Your tree is definitely viable, BM is a good choice. However i like having blasphemy flammability and herald of Ash as it provided enormous amounts of damage and extra clearspeed.

Splitting strikes only leeches PHYS damage, so you won't gain any benefit from it as you only deal fire damage.
Fortify on cyclone is good aswell, makes the build more smooth to use.

Vaal Pact is a MUST HAVE. You won't be able to survive some reflect maps without it.

That said, your build would probably still work fine if you find some sort of leech.

Thanks for feetback!

Sorry I'm not so sure what you are trying to say? We have 1/2 frenzy charges on the boots, 3 on skilltree and 1 in ascendancy. If you click the links on gear and skilltree you are able to point out the specifics.

@Naeno007

Thanks for answering those questions. I am interested in your version, could you share it? seems pretty good on paper.

What Gem do you drop on a 5L Belly?

5Link would be: Cyclone/Faster Attacks/ Inc. Aoe or Conc. Effect/ weapon elem. dmg/melee phys.dmg
dropping added fire as it is providing the lowest amount of bonus dmg

OR
Cyclone/Faster Attacks/ Inc. Aoe or Conc. Effect/ weapon elem. dmg/Elemental focus
for more dmg, but harder to colour (and can't switch in fire pen on resistant heavy maps)

So this build cant clear all content atm ? i see only 3/4 guardians and no shaper

It absolutely can!
I just haven't tried so far as i am leveling to 95 first, which will take a few days.
After that I am planning on doing those encounters.
Also, i am working fulltime + working a B.Ing degree, so that takes away great amounts of time.
Will update asap

hi there

been playing Mathil's version of the build so far, doing ok

but I yet have to step into endgame content ( Guardians/Aztiri etc )

I've only been mapping up to 13 so far and killed a breachlord.

I was planning to include Acrobatics/Phase in the build, while keeping val pact

What seems to define other variants of this build is the choice of the chest :

Belly
Daresso
Kintsugi

I'm leaning toward your build using Belly as that allows me to drop some life nodes whilst maintaining an OK health pool, to invest them in acro/phase. I really like the tree proposed by Naeno, that's exactly what i had in mind.

looking at your profile I see that you went for that as well

Now.. to the questions :

- how does this tree proposed by Naeno is playing so far for both of you ?
- Belly gives life, but lacks evasion, what's your experience with that, Evasion build- without an evastion chest ?
maybe going for Kintsugi and moving the Slaughter's wheel points to life nodes may work better ?

I just respecced into his tree and did a few maps. T15 bosses die in like 1-2 secs now. I lost around 300 life, which isn't too bad considering the enormous DPS boost. Naeno told me about the "Path of Building" calculator and we were able to optimize the skill setup aswell.
It is now(Chest): cyclone/Weapon elemental damage/ added fire damage/melee physical damage/elemental focus/iAoE (or Conc. Effect)

calculated cyclone dps:
fully buffed(minus toh dmg), iaoe:

fully buffed(minus toh dmg), conc.:

And now with vaal lightning trap on bosses:

And this is just cyclone dps!

So does that means your tree is rip and needs to be chaged into Mathil's ? :<

So both Patze and I spoke throughout the day and we believe we've come up with the best possible setup and skill tree (crunching numbers from both 'Path of Building' and in-game knowledge). I'll go over each of the changes here and also add my input as to how it performed today with the T16 Guardians.

Skill Tree Change
Spoiler
The skill tree can be considered a good mix of Mathil's damage and Patze's defense.

The most notable skill tree change is that we opted out of the extra Frenzy charge by Acrobatics and instead of heading up towards the Templar area for the increased AoE range, we invested our points into the Marauder life nodes, physical damage nodes, and increased elemental damage nodes. With this change, we've lost a tiny bit of life (it's nothing huge, around 350) but have gained a huge amount of damage instead (80k+) while still maintaining the same amount of survivability (besides the loss of life).

These are the major changes that the tree now takes advantage of:

This is the new base skill tree, completed at level 91: http://poeurl.com/Xsz
This is the new end skill tree, completed at level 95 (adds Druidic Rite and a Jewel slot by Vaal Pact): http://poeurl.com/XsB

Gem Changes
Spoiler
As Patze said, we removed Faster Attacks and replaced it with Elemental Focus. This turned out to be a huge damage boost AND should help with mana. So now this is how the links in your body armor should be:

5 Link:
Cyclone
Weapon Elemental Damage
Melee Physical Damage
Elemental Focus
Increased Area of Effect (Concentrated Effect for bosses)

6 Link:
Same thing as the 5 link but you also use Added Fire Damage now

T16 Guardians Performance
Spoiler
The new build works like a charm. I killed all four Guardians (multiple times) today without any difficulty on a 5 link. I was mostly able to facetank them all besides having to dodge a few attacks here and there due to a crit or damage roll on the map. Make sure to use your Stibnite flask and also keep your Fortify buff up with Leap Slam. Kill times are also great and let me remind you, this is all still on a 5 link with gems that are not even level 20 (I just finished qualitying them to 20%) and mediocre gear. I'll be attempting Shaper soon but I'd like to get my gems to level 20 first and have some better gear (damage rolls on rings and a 6 link for example).

Hope that helps and explains why the changes were done and what we gain/lose from them. Overall, we both strongly believe this is probably the best setup for mapping and doing endgame bosses.

So this is the new change to what we had earlier in this thread right ? Ill respec the points and follow the new base till 91 i guess for now ?
