I've learned a lot from this project including:
(a) It takes a lot of black food colouring to achieve anything resembling black (I did not have enough but am quite happy with the grey)
(b) Mirror glaze sploots a lot as it dribbles (I should have made the 'breachy' bit in the middle narrower than I wanted it to be and it would have spread to as big as I wanted it to be).

Still. YUM. Shame it wouldn't survive the shipping to New Zealand so you can't tell how actually good it tastes and I'm just going to have to eat it all... oh noes!

(unless of course a GGG employee or appointed representative is swinging through London right now and wants to have a taste).
