I even have to ditch LL in favor of increased duration to make chayula breachstone map somewhat safe to run, timewise ;) Potency of the will is really important for dps ? For cdwt set up it depend of your need but people use it mainly to proc often so they keep the cdwt range lvl around 1-5 . Ball of lightning is used to proc the linked curse on hit but i prefer use arc instead ( personnal choice) To proc mastermind it's more a linked curse on hit self casting skill like Orb of storm or even a simple unlinked lightning warp ! First off, I want to thank you for this amazing build, really solid in both survivability and damage aswell as a really satisfying gameplay. I was thinking about a suggestion for improvement, I might be thinking badly here, but what about using Empower in a potential 3b 1r link on the whispering ice? Seems to be increasing our damage by a ton aswell as the nice synergy between the +1 lvl for support gems + empower. If you can get your hands on a level 3 empower, then you would get a really nice dmg boost. But you would have to sacrifice life leech or fire pen for that though. Just been busy because holidays, might miss some questions here and there (and OP has been inactive, too) Potency is a must have because it allows your Icestorms to overlap better, and they stay around much longer when you start moving again - which is very important on chayula/uul-netol breachstones for example. Also overlapping Icestorms means that with potency you can stack ~15 icestorms, where without you'd get maybe up to 10 - so it is pretty much a 50% more dmg on anything that you can precast on.
