[2.5] HoWA BF Elemental Raider - Hybrid 800+int./ CI 1000+ int./Pure life variant [SC/HC]

Hello everyone, I have a blast with new uniques and my raider, shaping everything in milliseconds into the dust in BSC league. The damage is INSANE - even I have the lowest tooltip in my history (only 6500 unbuffed) everything dies in milliseconds - dual abyss Kaom done in 5 seconds without flasks. Many other bosses and breachlords die in seconds without kiting as you can see in video below.

So I want to share my theorycrafting. This is not going to be popular guide or complete build for newcomers for one reason:

I just don't want it to be popular! :)

The idea is simple: to use new elemental claws Hand of Wisdom and Action


and push Intelligence(insane DPS boost) to 800+ range using all other supportive items to make this build shine:



You need rares with Int 30-50 + some inc. elemental damage jewellery + raider with 8 frenzy charges.

After some thoughts I found a place for shaper gloves after they appeared on poe.trade(in last two days - start of the breach legue 06/12/2016 - still no shaper's gloves on HC)




So you can calculate the effectivness of 700+ int 250+ str and 600+ dex on this gloves.(this idea is optional. It;s only for QoL - for accuracy and HP/ES boost, good rare gloves in second post gives you more DPS)

Note #1: Yes, Avatar of the Veil is no-brainer for QoL in HC, but as I can see Avatar of the Chase is very effective and very smooth tool for clearspeed meta. to clear-kill-survive without Blood Rage(Temporal Chains map mod is not a pain anymore)

Note #2: It seems intelligence boosts our performance much better than dexterity so using fertile mind is a must in ranger area.




This is more optimal passive tree which I use on my BrutalDynamics character right now(characters are open - you can check it). It feels much better with additional AOE for blade flurry You can check jewels in it if you wish.




DPS - check second post 7500 unbuffed for BF.

Defence:
(I’m using hybrid, CI version is also available on second post) - 5k+ life/ 5k+ ES/7k+ Evasion without grace. 20k+ Evasion with Grace, but in current state of Evasion it's not valid to tank Volatile blood explosions or DD for 8K+ in tier 15 maps.

Strange, I didn't press Vinktar's flask in the video.

I don't feel the need to make any other videos except uber atziri and shaper, all other bosses die in the same way.

1 guardian and 4 breachlords killed so far without any problem(in 16 seconds). All were facetanked by ES buffer(no life flask needed)

Leveling and passive tree for lvl 50

It's not important to have 6L while leveling (4L will be - BF - added light. damage - elemental focus - Elemental weapon damage, 5L AOE/conc effect). It is so easy to lvl up with any elemental weapon. You can easily level up to lvl 85 and stay up to end game with new low level claws:




(yes, you can be effective dual-welding with lvl 22 claw - dps will be around 4k+ for BF - this is really very good) Use blood rage and take Elemental Overload ASAP,

Hey man thanks for sharing I went with life build although i have only 5k life but i have 60dodge and 40 spell dodge. I like hybrid too but I just feel Im not very experienced with ES in general.

This build is insane though most fun I had in for a while in POE since the beginning. BTW avatar of veil is insane defense immune to status alignment is just imba, ofc it all come down to personal preference just a suggestion.

English is not my main language as well so sorry for typos.

Awesome build. As i saw those claws i thought about something similar, but sticked with a ele bf build influenced by Priory.

Glad i switched over to the claws and stacking int. This is insanely strong and cheaper than the other build imho. I sticked with a evasion life build tho, got lucky and 6linked a kintsugi but am accumulating currency and probably going LL with a shavs. We'll see not sure.

It feels like there is still a lot of room to improve even tho the build feels very strong already.

PS: Im at 4.15k unbuffed and with wrath+charges at 9,8k BF damage, 6L with EleFocus, IncAoe, AddedLight, WED and culling (i mainly play in a group, having a easy time holding my charges and phasing up with culling)

Well, after so many deaths in last leagues in HC, I don't trust to Armour, Eva, Dodge, even Block/spell block sometimes don't do well. All those degens, powerful bleed, unavoidable/unblockable spells and What are you gonna do with volatiles and DD? So for me best type of mitigation is big HP pool(ES or hybrid), good coordination and no more melee tales...

Yeah, no doubt avatar of veil is insane, but this is clear speed meta, boyz, come on, let's have some fun in BSC.The faster you kill - the more you survive.

btw I didn't expect interaction between hybrid and those Claws(Life on hit), You still can recover your life pool even with Ghost Reaver.

Have you considered going IR instead? I created a tree when I first saw these claws that goes IR with shaper's touch, you end up with something ridiculous like 8k armour and 60% spell dodge if you use the Perfect Form, Black Sun Crest, and Atziri's Step.

it's interesting, Could you share the result later, Well I like the Perfect Form also, it sounds cool. But even with Atziri's Step it's going to be impossible to get cap resistances. main problem again, even with 70% evasion and 70% dodge something always one shot you...

It's impossible to have any problems with dps while you levelling if you have double



in your hands and at least 200 int + Elemental overload is a must.
