" I don't recommend you to buy 20% quality gems, you can create them yourself easily : level them to level 20 then exchange them to a vendor with a Gemcutter's prism, you will obtain a level 1 gem with 20% quality. You will level them very fast and they will soon provide far more bonus than a level 20 gem. Gear upgrade and changes : - The Staff is good apart the added cold damage to spells. Do you sometimes shatter ennemies ? If they shatter, you should look for a staff without added cold damage to spells. If they don't shatter, keep it, the other mods are goods. - The helm is good enough for a start, but please add 20% quality on it ! - The chest is good for now, but when you will upgrade, try to find a 5L but with 6 sockets because this build takes benefits from every socket available. - The amulet is bad and you should change it ! You should look for an amulet with 15-20% Increased Energy Shield + bonus to maximum energy shield + some elemental resistances. - The rare ring is good enough. - Maligaro's Virtuosity are a good damage enhancer, but in my opinion this build already does crazy damages and you should focus on defences. I would suggest you to look for classic rare Energy Shield gloves with elemental resistances. - The belt can be improved with a crystal belt instead that will provide far more energy shield. - The boots are good but please add quality on them :) Gems and more Fireburst procs : - Replace Vortex and Artic Breath with Ball Lightning and Blade Vortex, it will procs more often with those two skills. - Replace Flammability with Assassin's Mark, it will generates your Power charges, and feed you with life and mana on kill, you will then be able to play without Clarity. - Use a Flame Golem instead of a Lightning Golem, you will gain more damage. I recommend to use Golems only if you use the Liege of the Primordial ascendency instead of the pendulum of Destruction ascendency. In this case, you can use Flame and Ice Golems together. - Try to include Orb of Storms somewhere with those support gems : Power Charge on Critical & Increased Area of Effect. Cast this Spell each time you engage a group of ennemies or a boss, it will proc Fireburst very often as soon as you cast it. - On your staff replace Concentrated Effect with Increase Critical Damage, you elemental proliferation will go further. Skilltree and ascendency : Can you link your skilltree ? With your equipments and some little upgrades you should be able to easily reach 7000-8000 Energy Shield and you should be able to move to a full Energy Shield build (with Chaos Inoculation). Do you have the Beacon of Ruin ascendency ? That's the most important ascendency for this build because this is what proliferate the burning damage from Fireburst to all the enemies around. Cost : You can transform your current build in a killing machine with only 40-50 chaos investment (Amulet, Gloves, Belt) and more leveling. Exemple : Just for your information this is my current equipments and gems setup at level 89 and I have 7900 Energy Shield with it and I can clear T11+ maps easily. " I have leveled this build with selfcast Flameblast then Flameblast Totem + Sorching Ray with channeling and Arc. I highly recommend Flameblast Totem, you have nothing to change in the skillstree and it is very safe : you can flee around and you will not suffer from elemental reflection. If you have an essence of Hysteria, you just have to use it on a white 6 sockets staff and hope to not roll added Fire or Cold damage to spells. Crit or Block Staves are both good, you have to choose if you want more damage or more defences. In my opinion, this build can easily reach very high crit chance so working on block chance is more usefull. " You are right, if you want to reach 7000-8000 ES, you will probably need to reach level 85+, follow the skilltree I suggested, use 3 Energy Shield jewels (10-15 chaos for a good one) and change some pieces of your stuff like I said in my previous post. But keep in mind that you can play safely with 5000-6000 ES when your Fire burst procs often because most of the time everything will die before you will be hit :) If you want more advices and look how the build can be played in real conditions and do some maps, do not hesitate to add me as friend in game, I only play my Fire Burst character in this league. Don't suppose anyone could take a look at my profile and see where my next upgrade could be? I'm working on elreon 7 for the %es rings but i'm having some trouble finding gems with %es and the damage modifiers from OP's post. I have like 10ex just sitting so currency's not an issue.

Hi, i am really enjoying this build! But i dont understand what is the reason behind using herald of thunder? Is it a nice to have additional damage and chance to proc fire burst or something else?

" Herald of thunder is the ultimate god ... i tried it and since than i never took it off ... a) this enchant makes the aura almost free b) it deals a lot of damage, it adds lightning dmg to spells -> you shock enemies c) in <T13 maps i just run through the map without using a single spell, thunder kills em all once i killed the first pack myself |
