[2.6] Atmotion's 100% fire 'Xogama' Cyclone - Fun, Easy, Cheap, Fast, Endgame Viable (No 5-6L req!)
" How's getting Vaal Pact on a life based Slayer a good thing? Inherent regen is huge and one of the benefit of playing a life based build; for a Slayer however, leech rate stacking is one of the main perks. Getting Vaal Pact would essentially remove the reasons why Endless Hunger and Brutal Fervor are so good. Getting Hematophargy instead would give you better results than Vaal Pact (even when you're not using the phys atk dmg leech buff). |

It would be nice to see a recommended leveling overview of skills to use prior to obtaining Cyclone; especially skills that are acquired as a Duelist rather than needing to purchase/stockpile.
For example, Lighty's guide has: 1-4 Fire trap + Fireball/Moltenstrike/Ground slam 4-12 Fire Trap + Flame Totem + Fireball/Moltenstrike/Groundslam 12-28 Sunder + Added Fire + Melee Physical + Faster Attacks 28+ Cyclone + Fortify + life gain on hit + Bloodmagic All that and a bag of chips! Hey Amazing Guide ATMOTION, been telling a lot of people in game to check this out.
I luck dropped a really well rolled Heretic's Veil earlier, how would you use that, or what curses to compliment 22 blasphemy? |

" What I did was level 1-12 = ground slam, level 12-28 = sunder, level 28+ I used cyclone in a 4-link like the boots or helmet or w/e, and then used the recommended axes he said for leveling. Worked like a charm, and no cauterizer needed, can use Geoffrey's until 55 even, lol. |

Im new to this game, have only played it for 2 weeks. Here is my current gear https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW/characters

One thing I'd like to mention op, is that once you get into red maps, there are rippy mods that are not just skip ele reflect maps. In red maps if monsters add 100 percent fire dmg and you have -40 percent armor you get one shot. Haha. I am really trying to get this guy to 90 or 91 and then will retire him or use him as a lab runner. He has been great.

" I am looking into your tree, and you picked RT and Elemental Overload, but with RT you never crit, so you never proc Elemental Overload, if you want to use Elemental Overload, remove the point from RT. |

Hey, guys.
Been playing this build for a while and it got me thinking. Since we scale damage mainly though molten bursts it would be useful to achieve as much meat balls as possible. What do you think of the following tree. The idea behind it is to get as much AS as possible and slot in attack speed in cyclone setup. We get 97% AS from tree, 44% from gem, 15% from blood rage and 50% more from cyclone resulting in: (1.4 * 2.56) * 1.5 = 5.376 hits/second, or 0.18 second/attack. Since cooldown of molten burst is 0.15 seconds best case scenario we get molten burst with every hit during single target, worst case - every second, which averages to the following calculations. The DPS in this case would be (5.376 * 7 * 10 000 + 1.0752 * 7 * 10 000) / 2 = 225 000 (assuming we have a 10k damage per ball including point blank) These calculations take into consideration fact, that we have RT. Now suppose we do not have it, but we take elemental overload. The calculations would look like (let's say we have 80% chance to hit, AS is the same even though the tree does not include the EO): (5.376 * 7 * 0.8 * 14 000 + 1.0752 * 7 * 0.8 * 14 000) / 2 = 202 272 I would say, that RT is a much safer choice, cosidering we have 1 less stat to worry about. Any comments? |

So, okay, i'm in need of a quick advice here. It's a...tiny bit offtopic, but still :D.
Started leveling in duo-party with my friend and decided to use this build, because it seemed like a lot of fun. However, seeing as my friend picked a Raider as his character, we quickly ran into an awkward situation - he needs kills to gain his frenzy charges, and i, with my culling strike, deny him those kills :D. Because i play way more than my friend does, it's easier for me to change a build than it is for him, the only question is how. Slayer is, obviously, a no-go. Would a Champion work with Ngamahu\Xoph's Blood setup, and what Asc nodes would i need to take? Or is it better to just level up a bers\chieftain from scratch? |

" I can recommend Chieftrain! You get more fire pen, a bit of life leech, lots of endurance charges (im running with 7 atm), huge life regen and armour. I'm running a 6l chest with cyclone+faster attacks+fortify+BM+inc AOE+Life gain on hit the life gain on hit gives you pretty good survivability in combination with endurance charges(i got ~60-70% phys reduction with really budget gear), leech and life regen. |
