Pretty much this. "Hey guys, we made a problem with your stash management. We'll sell you the solution for $4" It leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not buying one of these.
ROFL, keep pushing that pay-to-play agenda. Man, I wish you guys had just published the game at standard asking price, this f2p shit is getting out of hand. I'm seriously losing faith in ggg as a company.


This should be a free stash tab gifted to everyone.

Edit: Oh right. I forgot. You were asking players the second or third day of the league if they were willing to pay for an essence tab. lol
I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready.

For the "upgrade all" button, can you please have an option to upgrade only up to 4 stack size so that we are always left with at least 1 of each kind? I very much like to see at least 1 of each essence in my tab and not have empty slots all over the place.

Why would you buy this?

- all the essences below & including T4 go into chaos / regal recipe
- everything else gets tiered up
- essence drop rates in 2.5 will be nerfed heavily

It's just a fancy tab you dont really need. Buy more regular ones.

I see the point of some people complaining about these essence/currency tabs becoming more of a p2w feature.
Myself is a fairly veteran player and have spent quite a lot of time in this game, I personally do not mind to pay a modest cost to increase my Qol; currency tab gives awesome Qol and the essence tab looks nice too.

Myself was once a f2p gamer at my younger age, played POE for free on-and-off since open-beta more than a year until I really felt in love with this game and decide to invest in it. And yes, the limited 4 tabs was one of the factor that stopped me progress to the point where I would have gained sufficient knowledge to organize and figure out what's worth keeping in my tabs. And this hinder me to truly understand the fun and interesting aspect that POE has to offer when I first started. Therefore, I can imagine how people would feel hitting a higher pay wall even more with all these new items (Jewels/Div Card/essence/maps...) cramming their stash these days.

Whether these more and more tabs are p2w or not as some might argue, I agree the default 4 tabs are not enough for f2p account, consider how much variety of items have been added to the game compared to 2/3 years ago. And for the sake of new player to grow devotion towards POE before they felt hitting a pay wall.

So here is my suggestion which I suspect someone might already proposed in the past. For players with default tabs only, give them a few 'temporal' normal or whatever tabs in the 3 months league for free or to be earn along side challenges progression. Especially whenever the game introduce a whole new set of new items such as essence. These free tabs do not carry over to the next league and will become removed only tabs once returned to standard league(well, it become permanent removed-only tab though). Such change should give f2p account some leverage and give new players an easier time to keep progressing in a league. Also more incentive to play fresh league!

TL;DR: Give default 4-tabs players a few extra free "temporal" nomral/whatever tabs in fresh league when new item set is introduced in new league. Which does not carry over to next league or add tabs in standard.

Less incentive for players to purchase permanent tabs and hurt short term profit? Likely.
Player still need to pay to unlock these perks permanently, but the p2w wall/feeling should be lesser.
Yet the benefit of Qol could potentially let new and f2p player grow fond to the game more easily and actually willing to invest in long term.

Seconded... I wouldn't use the "upgrade all" without this option.

And in no way is this "pay to win". It's utterly silly to group any form of "pay" into p2w. The entire league was played without this tab. People won (what ever that means). So it's not helping people win. It's an organization tool. Quit it with your "pay to win" nonsense.
