Content Update 2.5.0 Patch Notes
Some quick math in case anyone thinks that getting ten thousand map tiers is ridiculous. If it takes you four minutes to clear a tier 1 map, and you map for an average of four hours per day, that's 15 maps an hour. Doing only tier 1 maps, over 90 days that would be 5,400 map tiers. By comparison, if you do that with only tier 5 maps, keeping everything else constant, that would be 27,000 map tiers.
Is it going to be a bit of a grind? Certainly, but even a person who plays only an average of two hours a day could easily finish that challenge. If your average map tier is tier 10, and you do a thousand of them, the challenge is done, and keeping the time constant at 4 minutes on average per map brings you to a whopping four thousand minutes, which is literally less than three days of time. Don't you guys think there are to many nerfs in this game during 2 last leagues? The only thing that game was so attractive is variation of game mechanics to use. Patch after patch GGG now doesnt nerf some skill but whole mechanics at once. Gameplay becoming poor and not so interesting any more. I am loosing fun, I am loosing variants of choises who to lvl, what to build. I am seriously thinking to pass incoming league....don't feel any hype anymore.
And also...I thought good Game Devs should support players who deeply dig into game mechanics and know so much stuff about it. But every nerf of wormblaster builds shows - it is not. And yes I am fucking angry about. I spent dozens of exalts to get this build. And if u think that I could faceroll shaper right after I bought Harvest and Jars then NO! It is not so tanky as u can think watching video and u can be killed by any t13+ boss if u not max your gear. Just think about. To get end game content viable gear and build we spending tones of exalts and TIME in your game. Dont we deserve to use such brilliant mechanics after all? |

Seems most people commenting here are standard players, and the game is clearly built around temp leagues. Stop whining and play temp leagues rather than that standard crap :P

The way I see it, in a perfect world, more or less all builds should be able to do end-game content. That is what GGG should focus on doing. It shouldn't be that only Pathfinders or BV builds are capable of doing them easily. Any build with enough investment should be able to deal with end-game content.
I liked during Ascendancy that more or less all usual builds were able to do Uber Atziri in one way or another. Some face-tanked but were slow, some were glass cannons but high damagers. Right now it seems like only a few meta builds are capable of doing end-game content. So a re-balance is cool with me. Flask mechanics change was lame though. Even though I'm sure none of the devs will read this, but life needs to go to higher levels. Make 5-6k easily achievable please. |

Every time a new league starts and the 'pre' patch notes are released, you all ways get the same old shite ---- my build is broken ---- the game is farked ---- I spent all this currency --- how will I be able to do end game maps ---- my map clear speed wont be 10 seconds any more --- etc etc etc etc etc etc.
There are heaps of builds out there that don't cost a fortune to build and are capable of finishing high level maps! If people started playing the game and where not so obsessed with clear speed only, then there might be more build variety. And if every one does the same build that the top streamers do, or follow the million dps build of the week builds, what do they expect. I learnt long ago not to invest exalts into the build because sooner or later the nerf hammer comes down. Chances are that by the end of the first week of the league, a new build will emerge that everyone will play. Thanks GGG for the Free Game. |

" That is the main issue with people here, they seem adamant that such tasks are only possible with a handful of specs. Whether or not they are being purposely ignorant we can only speculate. As has been shown countless times, pretty much any ability can be made viable to run the majority of content. Hell you can kill poison immune guardians with poison builds, how hard can they be? Most people are sheep, with no understanding of the games mechanics and the inability to formulate their own ideas. |
