Just rename Mjolner please. With your constant nerfing from 10 to 4 discharges per second it wont live up to its name anymore. Just name it Sparky stick or something.

I spent a lot of time playing Mjolner builds in Essence. I even bought 4 of them just so I could try dual wield weapon swap. I was determined to prove it was still viable. And it was. Eventually. Just. At 10 APS. Certainly not abuse-level fun, but fun nonetheless.

But now? A tough-to-equip slow weapon with poor pdps and 4 casts a second on a 3 socket?

For me Mjolner was and always should be, a 'weapon of the gods'. Its back-story is a big part of the reason I was so fond of it and why I am so disappointed at this change.

What we have now is a far cry from a weapon of the gods. Either rework the weapon entirely or rename it to something more suitable, like 'pew pew stick'.

LOL.. you made me smile in the misery.. my mj toon is dead.. so i went Cospri!!! A few actually, the pew pew melee only faster crit cold stick that now can cast a whole 4 times a second in a 3l.. vs casting spells 10 times a second with spell echo in a 6l... Yeah.. this is a BUFF!

Cospri's the quickest unique to be nerfed? If you thought it was so fucking powerful, why did you release it as is?

You can criticize a lot about these patch notes, but this is not one of those things.

Well you obviously don't have such a build so you don't know much about it.

Mjolner was NOT OP after 2.4. Some people played it (including me) because WE LIKE IT. Get it ? We like it ! Not because it's OP. If you want OP go make a BV pathfinder or whatever will be meta in 2.5. So there was NO REASON to nerf it especially this hard.

And we can criticize whatever we want. Not gonna ask your permission to do so.

Nobody is stopping you from being objectively wrong, that is correct. But it does not stop you from being objectively wrong.

As for playing it because "WE LIKE IT"...then play it. It's still playable. This nerf makes it weaker, not unplayable. If you played it purely because you liked it, then you'd continue to play it and actually be happy because it's easier/cheaper to build. But no, you weren't playing it because you "liked it" if you're complaining about it being nerfed. So I wonder what other motive you might possibly have that the devs have accessed after looking at the actual gameplay data and not the anecdotes of whiny forum users...

I was playing Mjolner in Essence, and was hoping for at least some buffs as it was underperforming... now will be just a memory.

I'm laughing at the blatant irony of all you people complaining about CoC and Cospris etc. Complaining that there are op meta builds resulting in a lack of -competative build; while you, at the same time, utilize them because they are "fun" is a joke.

Pretty much any build can clear the majority of the content, sure it might take 4 or 5 minutes to clear a map instead of 2, but so what? Lets be realistic here, you use them because they are blatantly op as hell, no other reason. Please explain how Cospri discharge was fun to play, charging through a map so fast you cant even see whats going on; more importantly, allowing you to ignore all mobs and mechanics... its just bullshit. (fyi, i do have a cospris, and tried it)

Really wish people would just play what they like, instead of mindlessly following op build without ever trying other things, assuming they are garbage because some self righteous streamer said so. God forbid you might actually have to interact with the millions of other people playing to help overcome a boss you get stuck on or something.

These notes...Nothing, absolutely nothing good about balance changes...Not even "this is a buff" to get someone to laugh a bit. Should have left everything as it is and make changes on 3.0.0 ,instead of making these 5 minutes meeting balance changes. I need a break, anyways, thanks for all the years of good gaming!
