I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. My dps is not really even near (even when I'm wearing abyssus and voidheart) what some of you guys are having. Can you guys check out my gear, in my profile, and tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or what I'm missing? I'm having trouble figuring it out.

Hey, I'm having the same issue as the guy above. My damage isn't even close to you guys'. Can someone figure out what I am doing wrong?

" There's a lot going on here. You need to get max sockets/links in all your gear at set it up so that you have the same links as the OP. Your setup is a little all over the place. Whirling blades, discipline, and spell echo? Not really sure what is going on there. Most importantly though: you are on a 5link with item rarity support. So you are really on a 4link until you replace that with inc/conc aoe, crit, or something. ANYTHING! :) Other than that, a 6link is going to add probably nearly 50% more dmg to your output. You opted for survivability over dmg nodes at this point. May or may not be working out depending on what your total ES is (I imagine it is below 7k atm) and what tier maps you are running. I'm chaining T16s since last night with 7k ES and nothing is killing me (besides guardians) because nothing is getting close to me. I opted to kill stuff before they could reach me rather than facetank mobs because I know I wont' get to the ES break-point I want (9k+) without spending 70 more exalts on this build. I would personally go for way more aps on my jewels rather than dmg. Remember: each stage you reach with BF you get a 20% MORE multiplier--way more dps than increasd dmg jewel mods will give you. Start there and see how it feels once you clear those things up. Write down your dps/aps/crit/etc. today, make those changes, and see where it goes. |

Corey, I'd imagine your aps is pretty low--your claw aps is on the lower end and you have 2 jewel nodes only (not counting energy from within) and neither has attack speed. Take a look at my jewel nodes and what I have there. Without any of my jewles in my hideout dps/aps is 11,929/7.41. With them I go to 14,129/9.01. That puts me at 10.5 aps fully buffed without vaal haste.
Neither your rare ring or amy are really helping you dps-wise either. The ele damage on your ring needs to be replaced with phys, preferably on a diamond ring to bring your crit up. The amulet is pretty sweet defensively, but it's a great slot to use for dmg. Those boots need replacing with something with more ES and and res (I have a sweet pair I can sell you but they are quite expensive! 110 res, 160 ES, 30 ms) so you can swap to an offensive amulet. You're accuracy is probably pretty low too. Are you cracking 2000? I'd imagine not. The abyssus rolls are very bad. Low crit multi, but most importantly for you atm the inc dmg is high for your ES pool. Those are maybe the easiest fixes. The regalia could use an upgrade, but that's going to cost way more than any of the above I think. |
