A flask works great to avoid and remove freezing
Ntien, how do you survive in high tier maps? I kinda reached the same level as you, getting ~26k when i press everything, however I have only 6k ES, that unrealistically low amount for T12+ if you are runing some nasty stuff such as: beyond, perandus, bloodlines... yes, you melt it but then you die if you fuck up. Sad thing that you kinda stay on the place with this playstyle, you don't really farm/level up. I saw you were doing minoutaur with 6.6k. Well 600es changes nothing for maps, bosses are quite easy, just dodge.

thats why you drink taste of hate before opening. or any other flask that will give immune to freeze

but overall, yea. Stun problem is solved via boots/neck, but freeze problem stays relevant. Died to freeze more than to other shit. Especially cold beyond boss, fuck this guy.

I dont see how you guys get so much dps...my tooltip reads like 6k with tons of buffs and I melt everything so fast.. can't imagine getting it much higher with scourge claws.

I simply kill everything before they can touch me, lol. Stay away with mobs who can do physical dmg like Bear, Spider, Zombie,... kill them before they get to you or whirling blade when they near you, you see I'm using Basalt (with frozen and chill immu, Taste of Hate have 30% chance to avoid frozen and chill that why got a hard time with Cold beyond boss) instead of Witchfire Brew for more physical dmg reduction, actually I don't really care about DoT or double-dipping because when I enter boss room, I face him and shot the boss down after 2s with 3 dmg flask up and Conc effect, so no I'm not using Witchfire Brew until I get my Skyforth and improve my gears. About fighting with beyond and bloodline my 6.6k, super leech and all res are capped you will be fine, bloodline pretty easy, 0% problem with Perandus chest (even 8 mods map), I die sometime cause 0fps with beyond or shrine + perandus chest make you 0fps in a while (HD 7670M in 2017, sigh...)

You need a huge upgrade to your ES like Regalia 800+ ES, Energy from within, ring. Your Abyssus have 50% increased physical dmg taken. I recommend taking the True Strike node instead of Throatseeker you will have 1 more jew slot and 3 nodes of True Strike give you more tooltips dmg than Throatseeker (I don't know why but tested it myself). Also check your accuracy and chance to hit, make sure you have at least 85% chance to hit or you will be fucked up, test yourself with Enfeeble map and you will see the problem not from Ebfeeble global dmg reduction, the real problem is you have too much missed hit so you can't leech if your hit is missed, you die for sure :)

I can't run Guardian without death. I die pretty much because I keep doing T14-15 maps and don't care about lvl-up because 1 more skill point give me nothing for now. I'm focus on making currencies to get a Skyforth (believe me, Skyforth is a core item of this build), if you want to lvl up then doing T11-13 maps for a while. So don't rush, just playing and upgrade your character :)

And 1 last thing. I like Blade Flurry and no matter how the playstyle is, how many times I dead, I stick with it :). Yeah, you're a paper, die too much, cost too many fk currencies but still die after the Ghosted Bear hit you in the face. But who care? I'm boring with have 15 or 20k ES then stand and watch your Minions fight or running around keep a distance and shot things or watch your Essence Drain slowly and slowly hit the target. No thanks, I would like to do it myself, hit many buttons as I can, more challenge, put it to da limit :D. probably I'll fail this leauge but I have the experience for next league. Most importantly, I have fun and I can help ppl a little bit. Thats enough.

Well, brew in this case is more about curse that gives +60% phys dmg taken, but mb you are right, some defenses > dmg in this case.

I feel like these type of glass cannon builds are more towards group play with someone who can tank mobs a bit, while you just melt everything. I assume you are playing with unchained and his aurabot so it feels a bit different ^^ or mb I am wrong, but saw you on the stream.

Talking about the nodes and tooltip. The thing is you take attack speed while going there, so it will play some difference as well.

Energy from withing, i bought it and sold it the same day and bought taste of hate. Imo it will be the last item i will get, since it only pushes me to 6.1k ES instead of 5995

Quick hit up for those wondering about their tooltips dps : you need better gear. That's simple, there's no other explanation.

I get a 25k tooltip with my character being only level 70 :

- Only one jewel
- Missing a power charge
- Missing a lot of crits
- Non level 20 gems
- No Taste of Haste

During my test I had :

- 5 power charges (instead of 6)
- Conc. Effect (Lv 16), Melee physical damage support (Lv 15), Blade Flurry (Lv 17), Faster Attacks (Lv 17), Increased Critical Strike support (Lv 13), Melee Damage on Full Life (lv 16)
- Blood rage (Lv 15)
- Vaal Haste (Lv 20)
- Hatred (Lv 17)
- Witchfire Brew, Atziri's Promise, Lion's Roar.

Here is the breakdown of my stuff :

My current tree at lv 70 (click here)

Getting 30 more levels, lv 20 gems & Taste of Haste would results in a huge dps boost again. Plus I need to craft ES on both rings and I can easily find a better amulet (out of currency right now). I used over 1.5k chroma and couldn't get 2R3G1B on body but Void Manip would help too.

Not sure tho what I could focus after all of that except skyforth to get even more dps, might look for perfect roll scourges.

Btw, before getting my scourges (when I was lv 68), I ran a shaped strand with monsters +73% life, golems with extra life + these 73% were melting using trash lvl 40 claws. Merci & Uber lab weren't done so lots of damage missing too.

My biggest problems atm are the trees (goddamn I swear I cut whole forests because how annoying they are) & forgetting to swap Conc effect when entering an arena.

Quick tips: You can Vaal your Scourges to get Culling strike (one would be enough), and enchant your helmet for +% BF damage it you want to min-max

Not really, I leave 4 free skill point to test it. I put 4 points to take Throatseeker and then refunds them, put them again from Harrier to take True Strike, Harrier always up in both case.

After running some t11+ maps I'm starting to wonder if I really want Skyforth. As you can see on my previously linked boots, I have stun avoidance. I obviously have more ES.

Power charges wise, I can have all my power charges after the first or second pack of mobs (thanks to the ascendacy (10% to gain one when you don't crit)) and manage to keep it up until the end of map because of how long they last. Meaning the only utility of Skyforth there would be on bosses with really long animations or Shaper. All of that with a 42% base crit chance (I still lack a lot of crit from the tree)

Mana reservation wise there's always the charisma solution or jewel / lv4 enlighten.

So after some thinking Skyforth aren't really a core item of that build. It should be seen as an optional small boost costing you ES.
