Clear Speed meta is good and isnt even yet where it needs to be
"my toon was a reave character while I was waiting for blade flurry. so same gear, same everything aside from multistrike gem. sorry, reave loses in almost all instances BUT mid-tier map straight line pure clear speed xp grind with picking up only currency/top tier uniques (ie no stopping/porting), with great gear. if you run quay all the way to 100 with very good gear, yes reave will clear faster. its no comparison on any relevant bosses, really. reave was a very meh single target skill even with conc. blade flurry, I dont even bother swapping conc on for majority of bosses. they melt. badly. |

" Well, we don't know if reflect cannot reach orbit, so it would need to be chaos damage ! SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" Yes, for some it is. I returned to PoE earlier this year after a 2 year hiatus, so I remember what it was like to play in a much slower meta. It was necessary to play more tactically, using totems for distraction, self-casting curses, and doing a lot of kiting. However, I didn't think the game was all that mechanically demanding - much of the skill was associated with building a character well. There was also a significantly high barrier to gearing which needed to be overcome through tediousness, not skill (unless one considers the ability to flip effectively as a "skill"). Now, while the gameplay is more "automated", in some ways it takes more skill because certain decisions need to be made within a more narrow time frame given the fast paced nature of the game. I actually enjoy the significantly faster clear speeds a lot more, and I really like the fact that I can earn currency at a much faster rate so that I can buy what I want in a league. I understand that those that play a lot more than me end up feeling burned out because they accomplish their league goals after a few weeks, but I cannot say that I'm all that sympathetic to their particular needs. I do think the game needs a greater challenge when it comes to the endgame bosses (no build should ever be allowed to just facetank them for instance), but I don't think there's any particular issue with the pace of the game currently. " Just so you know ( because you seem to completely have missed this possibility, which is kinda mind blowing to me ), some people build up their char without trying to look for the best shit on the internet, they have an idea, and just go for it, and actually take pleasure to build a character on their own. Some people don't need to be assisted for everything and like actually creating stuff. some other apparently don't. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

I did read "Mors created the build first" instead of "Mors created all the builds first" to be honest (I guess I need some sleep...), but I'm probably missing a reference anyway.
Also Im getting tired of people just bragging about how game is easy after copy pasting a build and brainlessly using 3 buttons, doesn't help. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

"It's where we all want to be eventually. Not so great when it's achieved at medium levels with cheap gear. Should be more of a Mirror thing. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
