PoE Map Drop Season - Understand your Map Pool
" Because nothing is fine. T12/T13/T14 maps are boring, T15 maps are boring except for Dark Forest and maybe Overgrown Ruin if you have a tough roll / bad spawn. T16 maps then are a huge jump in difficulty all of a sudden, and it is economically bad to run them if you are not sure you can clean them. Great design there. T12 maps for 4c: http://poe.trade/search/niaikanarokoni Just checked the cheapest, if they are 5c it is still not worth chiseling them. I don't. I also don't pick up hammers and whetstones, honestly I got better things to do with my time than doing some absolutely mindless tasks, that provide absolutely zero challenge, just to be able to play some content. " 1. T12 maps are 5c+. I just linked the maps. Forget these legacy maps. Add to that the increased earnings through increased map drops by chiseling. 2. So you assume one would know when you complain about map RNG that you just have enough drops but are bored of the game in general. Are you serious? 3. I wrote this for people who have issues with their mapdrops as several topics and posts about that in feedback/suggestions came up as usual during that time of the season. As you are not one of them why you even bother? 4. It does make sense to pick up gavels for alot of players. It depends on your preferences and wealth. 5. "So that is why you play pathfinder probably on BV? Then complain everything is boring. lol. You got what you deserve. I don't see any sense in continuing this conversation with you at this point. " T16 maps pay for themselves if you sell the fragments. Issue is there is no way to kill guardians with out a cheese boat. IGN: Arlianth Check out my LA build: 1782214 Last edited by Nephalim#2731 on Oct 13, 2016, 7:08:07 PM

" No. I am complaining about the fact that while T12s are sustainable, they are just freaking too easy. They would be okay if there was a way to guarantee a 8-mod rare map, but there isn't. Unless they have a very strong boss (which below T15 is essentially Lair I guess), the maps just do not offer challenge unless you get a very good corruption. I mean, why am I allowed to oneshot the entire screen on a mediocre build? I honestly don't know. And looking at what some other people do, even with okayish gear you can essentially trivialize every content in this game that is sustainable on a lot of different builds. Why? I would probably not care about the fact that I cannot consistently play T14/T15 if those maps were actually challenging. I don't care much about T16s not being sustainable to be honest. That is fine, they give me reasons to work on my character. " Because your tips are based on anecdotal evidence at best and misleading at worst. " I play Pathfinder because it was the best ascendancy for my build, which was created pre-Ascendancy. It is a crit Ice Shot Ranger if you need to know. The critical Pathfinder node, namely Master Surgeon, is of very limited help to me, and I am thinking about speccing out of it at the moment, which, together with the other two Ascendancy points I have left, would allow me to spec into Master Alchemist. There is a reason I do not play Blade Vortex Pathfinder. " That is the actual problem - unless you know you can finish the T16 Guardians, don't play the map. It is better to sell it if you are unsure, for economical reasons. That is, if you ask me, pretty damn bad game design. Players should be encouraged to rather than discouraged from trying out new content. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.
