Roonimus – super cool composition, I can practically see the particles moving.
Gehinorm – looking at your entry is fun, love how the Phoenix looks like a sour loser. : D
Those are pretty much my personal top four, though there's lots of great stuff among the other ones, too. Those maps made from different things, for example! So cool.

Also: Woohoo, I'm a runner up! : D That makes me so happy.

I am surprised ovogancho's entry didn't win anything.

Actually I made this out of stained glass, and what is making it glow is the sunlight passing through it. I made it because of this event, but I was planning on displaying it during my local comic con to be sold. It is by no means perfect but I am proud of it, and have a few ideas on improving it.
