" I play around with orb of storms if im dual weilding, or tempest shield if using a shield. This is linked with CWDT and when triggers, give the fire pen for 10 seconds which is more than enough time |

This build idea is still somewhat viable using either the Freezing Pulse or Frostbolt threshold jewels to get additional projectiles.
I've made a build on Path of Building using 2x Cospri's Malice and Frostbolt that pulls around 900k single target. Keep in mind that each Cospri's can only cast 4 times per second now for a combined total of 8 casts per second. Fresh builds all day.

" You can calculate trigger build damage manually by using: Effective crit chance * attacks per second = procs per second. If I remember correctly the frostbolts were doing 98k-ish damage each at a max proc rate of 8 times a second. I'll link the Path of Building pastebin when I get home from work today. Better late than never I guess? https://pastebin.com/XhwCbmfX I feel like this is fairly realistic gear with the possibility for rolling a bunch more damage on Opal rings. Roughly 98k damage per frostbolt at a max rate of 8 frostbolts hits per second and 34k Lacerate damage. Total DPS should be roughly around 800K+ while shooting a total of 40 frostbolts everywhere per second. Fresh builds all day.

I was wondering why is there no CI keystone :) Actually I am not going to try it but I will use your frostbolts jewel ideea. Edit: Also how are you activating the threshold jewels ?
