It's fine on HC but I would make some changes to be even more safe against reflect, probably drop tons of damage for ES etc, If you're a HC player i'm sure you're experienced enough to make those tree/link changes yourself.

You're correct, because Cospri's only procs on melee crits. ST is not melee.

This is my gear so far. I can pretty much do t1-15 pretty much with ease thanks to cold res gems along with Dying Sun. But accordingly to the build maker you cant do Guardians or atleast its not meant to. So far ive managed to take down Minotaur. And ive gotten better at it so i can pretty much do it deathless now. As for Hydra it took me 3 maps before i could take it down with just a single death. I can do it deathless if i just do everything right instead of being greedy and do stupid moves.

Overall the build is incredibly great. Lots of fun too.

Safe to say only SC. You'd be dead if youre not extremely carefull on hc.

That's a strange joke you're making. I'm not saying Malice is unusable in hardcore, but aside from the gem links in your body armour (minus additional accuracy and plus fortify, probably, because try to be realistic--with such reduced damage, having perma fortify from just whirling blades is unrealistic) and one Malice, any build that would be hardcore-viable would look basically nothing like what you currently list. Unless you're the one who designed Cospri's Malice, it's not like you could credibly claim that anyone using the weapon is using some variant of the build you outline here.

I played around in the Duelist/Shadow trees and came up with this. I despise CI, low-life. I recognize it's considered "stronger" right now but i hate all the freezes, stuns and ignites and crap that get laid on you. Plus, 4 off color on a chest isn't fun. 10 K es isn't fun to have that shredded by a single skeleton or bleed. I don't care if it's "weaker". I'm not doing ES builds.

So, i went life. (Albeit not a ton of life, it's meant to be a fun build after all).

I remembered all of the crit and crit multi down south of ranger start and wanted to pick your brain on this. Sure, my spells will crit a bit less, but my melee should crit more, creating more spells to begin with, yes? Also, there may just be more crit multi here overall. What do you think dude?

As for the starting class and Ascendancy. Shadow would be fine(damage is always easy). But what about Duelist? You could easily snag the permanent fortify buff and a decent ev/ar chest(which would be a hell of a lot easier to color) and have 40 ish phys resistance and maybe 4.5-5 k life.

Which I am not? wut.. I don't know why you're ranting off here on stuff you're coming up with in your head. I am not claiming credibility on all malice builds. If the dude wants to play it in HC he can. I rarely died whilst playing this build.

I have a 6Link Volls protector and Volls amulet. Which links would you recommend for leveling if I want to go CoC when leveling like you suggested?
