Thanks for your reply. So this wouldn't work on a CI build correct? Do you find it better to go low life with more auras than CI with fewer auras? I recently went CI so I can use my new 6-link Incandescent Heart and I am still one-shot dying easily (maybe due to 5500 ES or resistances not topped up or something).

Can you post your tree here? I might go low life as well if that's the better option.

The wand looks good. I like the high value of cast speed and multiplier, 92% spell damage is also good and extra cold damage too. I think it's good as final.
Only bad thing is having just one socket and being corrupted, so can't change.
But if you find anything better/affordable you can compare. I usually have some extra, slightly worse wands in stash, since it's difficult to know what will give more DPS.

The Halcyon seems interesting but IMO doesn't do much. Like probably most unique items.
It has more chance to freeze, and more damage if frozen recently, which wont happen with end game bosses right I believe. But could be fun on maps.
The Pandemonius Jade Amulet looks better since the cold penetration.
So having a good specific rare would give more useful stats at once.

Is level 21/20% quality or level 20/23% quality better for Cold to Fire Support?

Hmm I'm not sure. Level 21 would give extra +1% of Cold as Fire damage. And Quality 23 would instead do +1.5% increased Cold Damage and +1.5% increased Fire Damage.
So I'd say quality since it's 1.5% not 1% and it goes for both cold and fire.

Thanks, I'm in the process of upgrading all of my gear and gems. Here is what I am currently using :






I'm low in elemental resistances, need to replace those gloves, belt, shield, boots, maybe helm. I took Chaos Inoculation when I got this inexpensive chest piece since it converts some elemental damage to chaos damage which I am immune to now. Wish it had more ES instead of life. I am considering going Elementalist for more damage, resistances, and low life for more auras.

The corrupted prophecy wand I believe we can change the sockets with level 8 Vorici. Mine is level 7 so I haven't tried it yet.

Don't mean to troll here, however...it's a bit disconcerting to review the "necessary" items, especially
when the rings aren't available on standard softcore format. The rare gear you have is either extremely difficult to find or they cost an arm and a leg to obtain in trade. I do however understand that substitutes can be made for missing gear and this only an example of your "bis". I did enjoy the options regarding jewel setups though.

Will there come a point that the SnakePit rings will be available in standard mode?

What do you mean by standard mode/format ?
The league? I play(ed) on standard and Snakepit is available there.
Isn't terribly expensive for smaller rolls, but higher are 1ex or so.
