Newbie lab feedback
" your lvl92 oro build? the one with terrible flask setup and no notable phys mitigation? i could do it but not until you realize that your flasks are what you should sort out first. your 8k or 12k hp mean nothing as the traps are % based enduring cry for charges. basalt for reduction. and these traps are no longer scary. in this case it is not the build that is a problem. but the unvillingness to adapt to changing circumstances. |

" I think you meant to respond to the Uber Lab thread, not this one. |

ive checked your build. im surprised that it managed to get to 80. it wont get further even if you complete the cruel lab. here are few tips
you decuded to play hybrid (life and es). this is a viable choice but requires certain approach. currently i cannot see it there. your 3k hp and 3k es will be most often than not 3k hp and 0 es. this is suicide. it replace your es schield with a strong life, good armour shield - like lioneyes remorse some of your items like your crit ring have 7 life or something similar. at lvl 80 you can no longer use items this bad. ring can roll up to 79 life. go and grt items with life. 7 really does not cut it flasks. there iz no excuse to having 1 mod flask. all flasks should have 2 mods. and all flasks at this point should be ethernal or divine. no excuses here. resist flask i think should go - along with either helmet or gloves. you need resists on gear. you do not do damage while dead. for izaro - basalt and granite +2 life flasks and a quicksilver. replace iron will with life leech for sustain in this fight these seemungly small changes will help you a lot. if you need more help let me know. as dor the performance. you are right that this fight requires mobility. and that is the reason why i say: if your game chpps for any reason stop playing it. it simply will only frustrate you over something that is a non issue without performance issues. |

yeah, update your gear. At lvl 80 you should kill izaro within seconds in cruel, before he can teleport you anywhere. I carry several friends in cruel and wipe the floor with izaro. It also only takes 10-15 mins to get to the final trial.

" Hehe, thanks for the advice. I was planning on starting a thread in gameplay for advice on the build overall, as it is doing much better than my caustic arrow trickster, but still needs work. Yes, I have not updated much of this character's non-unique gear in a while. I will place my questions in the other thread I start to not derail this one. However, your overall point, that my low HP did my lag issues no favors in the end fight, is valid. However, at level 80 on cruel, I was assuming I could still swing it. Not so, which seems a bit crazy. |

" I fully acknowledge that I am not a super skilled player, and am still learning about the game and build mechanics. However, the balance seems off if this build, my skill, and my hardware can handle T6 bosses with various mods in small arenas, yet can't handle Izaro on cruel. Several have commented on things that could be improved with the build, but the comparative success I have had with the build just begs the question of balance with this guy, and the fail mechanics of the lab. If he just reset and I could try again, I would have kept going. As it stands, I will focus on maps and other content rather than return for an extended period of time. I play to enjoy myself, and the lab is not at all enjoyable, for me, primarily because failure isn't a learning opportunity in this case, it is a frustrating grind often short circuited by little lag spikes, latency issues, or temporary framerate drops. Having to re-do the whole thing every time I fail just means I won't do it often. However, this means this character will not have more ascendancy points for a while. I am not sure what this mechanic adds to my growth as a player, the broader player base, GGG or anything else. |

" Well the thing is a hybrid character is very special. They either use a small ES base and fill it with Ghost Reaver and Life Leech. Or a larger base and fill it with a lot of regeneration. But it's a lot harder to use both than just playing a normal life based build. And even if you are life based you can still use an ES shield, although I would use it for the block chance, some Life and Spell Damage and Spell Crit and maybe resistances. I'm not sure how high your DPS is, but Cruel Izaro is fairly simple. Of course your main issue right now is that as soon as your ES is back it takes full 9 seconds without damage for it to grow back, which is possible during izaro in the first two fights, because it is so easy to run from him, but in the last fight thats hard. So your ES is very likely non-existing. A full Armor shield though will give you enough Armor to tank most smaller hits and survive Izaros bigger hits. Lioneyes is on option but you can even get cheap 1,5k Armor shields if you prefer having one with potential resistances on it. https://www.pathofexile.com/fullscreen-passive-skill-tree/AAAABAUBAQKWBAcEswVCC2EMXxBYES0UIBZvGjgaPhpsG_EcpySqJy8pTyycNZI26TpYOtg8LT38QZZDY0PIRZ1G10yzTwRQR1NSU6VVxlcpWGNboF8qXz9mVGebaPJxTXGFcg92EXwOfEt8g37HgpuDzIPbhXuLjIx2jM-QVZRvlnSaO5rPmuCdrp48ogCnCKdVrj6us69sr5uxQraGtzG3PsBmxq7G2ND10nzVpti94XPjauQi5FHli-vk6-7sOO087w7wH_Iv8xH2SPnd_go= Those are some quick adjustments I have made that won't require lots of regrets, since you get 24 points for free. This would basically turn your char into a simple life based Sparker. And after that you basically go to Izaro and just hit and run. Cast a few sparks, move cast a few sparks. That is basically the same you will do in higher maps. Not having such a high, often depleted ES pool will also make traps easier. |

" Thanks for the pointers, Emphasy. I appreciate the feedback. I have started a thread in gameplay if you have any more. I agree, going full HP, at least for the foreseeable future, is probably best. I love experimenting with builds and learning from doing, so I don't have many re-spec points left, but enough to make some ES adjustments. |

OP, you're correct.
For this stage of development, and the amount of donations thrown to GGG, there is no excuse for the terrible game engine performance, unstable servers, poorly optimized code, etc... Pay no mind to the sid the brats of the community. |

" Well, if I die in the lab, I do usually die to two things: the first one are ggg's infamous trap-streets, the second is the combination of teleport in traps + lag/frame rate drops. So the last problem occure only in the third stage, but not every time. But its quite often, if I fight zealed-izarro. (..or maybe lag/frame drop matters more in this scenario, so Im more aware of it.) And no, I dont buy any kills and I dont want to buy any kills. I try to build around or accept that I cant handle some optional stuff. If both dont work, I screw the build or finally screw the game. |
