There are three 2.4.x patches lined up over the next six weeks. We don't know the exact timing of these patches yet, but it is probably safe to assume that we'll be releasing one approximately every two weeks. We'll post more information in the news once the exact timing is known.
Due to the number of dependencies dragged into 2.4.3 by the large engine update, we are essentially treating it as a technical pre-patch for the version that 2.5.0 is based on. That means that 2.4.3 is likely to contain more bug fixes and other minor changes than 2.5.0 itself will (as it'll be possible to deploy them early). This will hopefully lead to a very stable release for 2.5.0! 2.5.0 will be released in early December. It has a new challenge league and a few things we will tell you about later on. |
