The Loot From Uber Lab Feels Bad
I remember seeing screenshots like this
Mine looked like all armour scraps, random rares, alts and jews no chaos no alchs, and just really really bad loot in general I should have taken screen shots.... but i kept hoping it was going to get better... All in all after doing over 15 runs With 4 Keys And A Support i got a bunch of random gems with quality which probably total up to 5-6 GCPS Maybe 5-10 chaos Some t6 maps 1 Unique map - Hallowed Ground 1 t13 Map 30 Chisels from Divination box Some Fuses/ Jews/ Alts/Alchs totaling up to maybe 10 chaos Alot of armor scraps and whetstones.... I mean each key has a value of like 4 Chaos -http://poe.trade/search/ebutarazuamaha I risk my character doing those crazy traps and giving izaro full buffs All for a slight tiny return... (rough estimate even though i did more then 15) 15x4 = 60 Chaos worth investment Barely got back 60 Chaos of random loot.... This is absolutely pointless... Uber Lab should give much better rewards.. There shouldnt be an armor scrap box or random low tier rare box.. The loot should ONLY BE MAPS, CURRENCY, UNIQUES, DIVINATION CARDS, CRAFTING BASES ILVL84, SACRIFICE PIECES, MORE KEYS/MORE OFFERING TO THE GODDES Thats all those boxes should contain... You should feel rewarded... Instead i just feel like ive wasted my time.. Last edited by Bloomania#2606 on Sep 24, 2016, 7:11:33 PM Last bumped on Dec 27, 2016, 1:15:03 AM

lol this post is incredibly misinforming and deceiving.
I made 253 chaos alone from gems yesterday and i only did like 15 runs. I had about 10 of those and only bought 5, soo 20c spent on offerings. Meaning i gained 233 chaos in pure profit off gems alone. I spent some today and i still have a quarter of a tab worth of gems to sell, not to mention items i found or enchants too. Above is what i spent some on, 10 on the boots, 4c per offering. I still have like, 100c worth of gems to sell and probably a couple hundred worth of items and enchants. This isnt even counting divination cards or currency/maps either. Uber Lab is INCREDIBLY rewarding, youre clearly doing something wrong if you somehow thing Uber lab isnt rewarding. Theres a reason why EVERYONE does uber labyrinth on good layouts, because its rewarding and great money. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

" Why would you link void walkers, something only obtainable from shaper.. you did not get a shaper drop from uber lab. i really dont believe you at all.. i did full key runs and i barely got shit back... All my enchants were crap you are exaggerating hardcore Last edited by Bloomania#2606 on Sep 24, 2016, 7:30:45 PM

The only one exaggerating here is you, and saying that uber labyrinth isnt rewarding enough. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

didnt see the "above is what i spent some on"
Either way im not exaggerating i ran 4 key runs today and i really didnt get much.. i only hit the quality gems box like 3 times most of the boxes i opened were rares, crafting bases, whetstones/scraps |

Tip from a labyrinth farmer, always open the same boxes every run. Also, youre running with another player, obviously loot is going to be split. Labyrinth party play isnt very profitable which is why people run it solo. Its similar to mapping in a sense because theres potential that good drops will be allocated else where.
Tips i can give you. 1) Run it solo 2) Always open the same boxes every run Clicking on the same boxes every run will increases your chances of hitting a good box, rather than trying to play the gamble game with randomly choosing and potentially not hitting anything good. Statically choosing over dynamically choosing is the wisest choice in the chest room. That being said, you were probably just unlucky on top of the fact that you partied with someone else, meaning loot is split. I hit multiple 18-20% quality chests and i do that very consistently every time i farm the labyrinth. The gems alone will sell for 3-5c each depending on the level (19 + high quality often easily sell for 5c). Edit - And obviously, you should have a stash full of enchantable gear to use the alter on. Good enchant + good base will always sell for alot. Obviously, thats entirely up to RNG. There are times when you run, not very often mind you, where you simply lose profit on one run. This happens probably 1/20 runs where the boxes you open will just be completely rares. Thats just the reality of the gamble though, obviously you cant win every time. Harvest sucks! Did 30 uber lab runs today, made some hefty profit. Got a full stash tab of 18-19% quality gems now, 3 times got the stash with maps and lots of div cards.
" Could you elaborate? How does it increase the chances? I just chose them randomly. Last edited by almostdead#6338 on Sep 24, 2016, 7:39:28 PM

"From my experience, boxes are almost never always the same. This means randomly clicking around can be very unlucky. Think of it like rock paper scissors in a way, but with 10 options instead of 3. If you use only rock you have a 1/3 chance of always winning, 1/3 chance of breaking even, and a 1/3rd chance of losing. By choosing the same ones you keep a static chance at winning whilst the boxes change what they might contain. Ive done the labyrinth hundreds, maybe even a few thousands of times now, i click the same ones every run and thats what ive noticed. If it doesnt make sens then it may just be me having a lack of a good example/words for it. Keep in mind i also did testing, i found that randomly picking i was far more unlucky, of course, that wont be the case for everyone because RNG, but i found myself having far more luck always clicking the same ones. I tested that over about 100 runs a few leagues ago, which is why after that league its always been my motto to click the same ones. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in! " Ah, well in that case, if you get good drops from all of the chests on one run then on the next run you shouldn't open the same chests. It's probably just RNG though. |

My party member was a support who gave me his loot
The best thing i got was not from the lab chests itself but a diviners box where he pulled an ethereal div card and gave me it. Otherwise i wouldnt have broke even on the time investment + keys + risk on traps I tried to click on the same boxes are mostly ended up with scraps/rares/ corrupted rares/ I pulled divination box literally only twice map box once and currency box 4 times but nothing over a chaos from the currency. I hit the unique item box but it was all crap Quality gems i think 3 boxes and i hit 17% 13% and 18% Best thing i got was a 17% blade vortex... out of the quality gems box... If i hit the diviners box maybe 3 more times and quality gems a few more times maybe id be happier with the outcome of the runs... even a decent enchant.. Instead all i got was shit.. Ill be sure to take screen shots next time i do a full run |
