[2.6] THE NEW FAKENER | DISCHARGE | SUPER FAST STRANDS | Cospris Malice | 9k+ ES | STILL GREAT AOE

I dont have all the items necessary yet, but I'm wondering why my discharge coc is never going off.

(check my character)

Ive had alot setups trying different things.. (recently broke 4link trying to get atleast 5 -.-)

But my coc cyclone/discharge. has never gone off, even though Im building power charges shield charging around, and I have 54%+ crit when I have all the power charges I can have atm.

Almost seems like COC is broken, or Im missing something.

@supreme, im sitting at 9027 ES could always drop some nodes if you feel like you need more, i usually change a few passives every couple of days to get a feeling for what i like more or less

@adfi90 your links are wrong, discharge+coc+icc doesnt actually do anything it needs to be linked to something like cyclone so when you cyclone and it crits it causes the coc+discharge to go off

Your character is "IThoughIdBeRichEnough" right? Not trying to be harsh but your character is a mess. You are still running around in goldrim and wanderlust and the rest of your gear is horrible. You should really spend a couple chaos and some time on poe.trade upgrading as described in the guide. You are having trouble with an ES build because you have no ES.

Your links don't really make any sense either and frankly I just keep having more questions the longer I look at your character (why not warlord's mark with blasphemy? why the weird wild strike link? why poacher's mark? why no vagan dagger? why no energy from within?).

Oh interesting, I'm at 9,299 right now. Gotta be jewels or intelligence since your helmet, gloves, and shield are all higher ES than mine. I'm changing passives all the time too, the poor spell damage per charge node has been respeced about 20 times now haha.

Seeing the questions the character is probably not up-to-date because of all the tries at making it viable :D

Wild strike was before switching to CoC or maybe in-between transition.

Be as hard as you need. I'm really struggling to comprehend what I'd need to make the CoC discharge viable at this point (very new to the idea). I'm tweaking everything following your help right now, thanks !

Yea I don't have ES on any of my Jewels, also I went a slightly different path to get to the shadow jewel on the right (didnt need the dex) by dropping 2 of the hybrid ES/Life nodes at written in blood but taking the additional jewel left of CI

No problem! I would start with carefully rereading the main guide. It's easy to skim through and miss important information and this build is very finicky so if it's not set up right it won't do much and will be very unimpressive.

Follow the guidelines for each recommended gear slot and just drop the required level in poe.trade down to whatever level you are currently at and set a max price of like 2 chaos. There is a ton of great gear available for very cheap prices. Once you hit around 3.5k ES you are safe to spec into CI.

Your expensive upgrades should be a voll's devotion as soon as possible, then 5 linking your voll's protector with 4g1b, a cospri's malice, and a vinktar flask.

At that point (I switched to malice asap at lvl 68) you will run discharge + controlled destruction + increased AoE or concentrated effect in the cospris malice and Cyclone + Inc Acc + Inc Crit + CoC + Blade Vortex in the voll's protector. You will clear levels with shield charge which can proc the discharge in your malice and then you'll use cyclone for bosses and tough packs which will proc your blade vortex and the discharge in the malice. Voll's devotion and voll's protector make sure you always have charges.

Hope that gives you a better idea of where to go.

Alright it's going much better now. I can actually kill stuff ! Takes some times though... I'm not at all used to this since my previous (BF Raider, Facebreaker shield charge, ...) character were a breeze ...

I might change back to Cyclone to proc the CoC Discharge ? Cuz of more APS. I feel like my single target is pure shit.

(Changing this shield in 2 levels to have a proper spell damage one.)

Ah yeah, you only want to shield charge once you have cospri's malice up and running. It's just used since it's a movement skill that procs cospri's nicely.

For leveling I had a voll's devotion which made CoC discharge reliable, I think you use normal blade vortex links otherwise but I'm not super familiar with that since I've never done it. Voll's is the way to go if you actually want to discharge while leveling since it sustains charges like nothing else.

So, I made a trickster and I'm a bit dissapointed. I enjoy mapping with this build, but on single target dps just sucks. Im running 6l shield charge as in guide atm and have to change 2 jewels, rest of gear is imo ok (you can look at it on my profile). Idk should I go 4g2b cyclone coc bv AA pcoc inc crit as someone said or buy/farm Uber lab for helmet enchatment and do 3g3b. And yes: I'm proccing EE. Imo shield charge 6l trickster option is not viable for T10+ maps, you will be able clear trash really quickly, but killing bosses will be really hard and long and not viable without life leech or refilling flasks.

You don't have crit gloves like I state that you need in the guide. They double your crit. Go buy now.
