Rocking an Occultist version of this build. I haven't felt the need for the crit gloves as diamond flask does the job just fine for capping crit.

Pros:
100 free ES
Lots of free %ES from Ascendancy tree
+1 Curse
+1 Power Charge
ES recharge doesn't get interrupted if it starts
Gets bonus chaos damage that doesn't get reflected
Can drop Inc. Acc. gems if you run Poacher's
Can drop mana on hit jewels if using Poacher's (P.S. I use Poacher's)

Cons:
Less overall damage than the Assassin version
No purities because of dual blasphemy curses
No perma-Vinktar from Pathfinder

Long story short: Less top-end damage; weaker against reflect; less gear dependent; potentially more consistent charges

Ok get better jewels, just % ES and spell damage isn't great. Try to get ES/Atk Speed/Multi. Or something like double multi and 1 other stat. Multi is #1 priority on jewels. Get as much as you can!

You still need to color your chest, its a dps increase.
Multimod rings.

If you're lacking consistency (you might not be) put inc crit strikes in your gloves. I would shieldcharge the same mob 10-20 times with a lvl 1 discharge to test how effective this actually is atm. It mostly depends if you're cycloning alot after entering packs with shield charge, then AOE might be fine.

Get vaal skills, we are able to keep Vaal haste up permanently for mapping and the vaal disc when we feel we are in trouble/before the boss.

I suggest you check out my links and draw some ideas from there.

Edit: also worth a mention, 8k es is around average for this build, because of the insane leech and midigation we get from flasks we are VERY tanky even though it might not seem like it.

i only ever see blue discharges , although some of the enemies burn afterwards. Should i be concerned?

Nope. That just means you're discharging more power charges than endurance charges. Endurance charges are still being discharged though, assuming you have a devo.

Pathfinder version here.

I dropped one of the puritys to run a cwdt-warlords mark setup.

3 key things I see with this. I cant see why every build isnt doing this.

1) By doing this you leech enough mana to either use 1 or no -8 elreon rings. Can get much better jewellery for the same cost.

2) Dont have to run a lifeleech gem in your discharge setup. Even as a PF its hard to maintain 100% vinkts uptime vs T16 bosses. This 2% leech covers that short time.

3)Generate more endur charges which means more consistent dmg + some survivability.

The only real downside is having 3% less max fire or lightning res. Why does everybody not do this? Are there any downsides i am missing?
