I'm working on finishing up gearing my assassin, and was wondering whether spell crit or spell damage would be better on the shield? I'm going to try to buy one with at least 70 or so of one of those stats.

spell dmg would be best if u can get 30+ while keeping res cap and high ES on the shield

Any thought how I could improve my build for strand farming?(other than HH)

Strand farm feels much nicer as assassin because you have much more consistent shield charge crits. It's a decently large investment but so is some of your trickster gear.

Hey, thanks very much for the guide, sorry if you've answered this already, but what do you think the cheapest I can get this build started with? Is a 5L Voll's enough to get started with merci dried lake? Or do I NEED anything else? Thanks, I only have 50-70c to use at the moment.

I'm doing T10/T11 maps comfortably on a 5L voll's. I've got a 6L holy chainmail but the bastard is refusing to chance :(

Honestly you can get by with a 4L Voll's as Trickster, I just got mine linked at lvl88 and it doesn't feel neccessary at all. Shield charge speed was fine without faster attacks, now it's insane. I'm actually debating on regretting cruel bandit, skillpoint feels much more useful than 8% IAS, at least for HC.

Anyway, really enjoying my variation of your build in temp HC (took some more ES nodes).
Can clear T12/T13 with most mods easily.

Using a Doryani till I can get a leech enchant on ma boots.
Planned upgrades: Crystal belt, Death's Door (bleeding will eventually wreck me otherwise) and a better shield. 10K ES should be doable, sitting at 8.8k at the moment.
