I just switched over to assassin and honestly I'm not super thrilled with the results. I find myself dying incredibly easily despite a significant investment in my gear. Even in strands I'll die a couple of times to just straight up one shotting myself on something that hadn't even emerged from the ground yet. I'm running 8.5k ES with vinktars and eleweak capped resists. Is there anything obvious that I need to change? I might have to start running leech in my weapon, I guess.

"you got no reliable leech mechanic, either put ll in cospri or enchant boots for leech and get kiara against stuns or even both.I lvled to 97 on strands.Now im struggling with lvling but im too greedy to reroll bad map mods -_-. Can someone tell me if firestorm in 6l is rly that good? I guess it helps for shaper etc but does it increase reliability and clear speed during strand runs etc. ? |

" Partly the reason we use poachers on the strand setup is to keep up vinktars 24/7 with the extra charges gained to flasks, your survivability directly correlates to your vinktar uptime when you want to solely rely on vinktars for survivability. Get leech enchant on boots and dont run -max if you're having problems keeping vinktars up. Theres a chance you might die. Cyclone on hard mobs for stun immunity. Ppl think they can sit there and spam shield charge on the boss. Doesn't work that way. Usually when people are having problems it's a playstyle issue. Guys i have pretty much the same setup of him but ele reflect mob nuke me instantly ( not map mod just one rare with reflect ). How am i supposed to deal with such thing ? i know i have to pop vinktar flask but it may not be up all the time and if i speedrun and it is down it means REEEP

" Boots leech sorted it, thanks. I don't really have any trouble with cycloning when I should be since I played the trickster variant for a while where shield charge wasn't a super reliable discharge proc. I also hadn't realized how strong the flask charge aspect of poachers actually is for speed clearing. |

I'm just barely resist capped running double purities. If I switch to HoI + CoH, I would be uncapped on one resist. Does that matter or can we consider to be capped with endurance charges? Because in order to switch to HoI, I would have to recolor a lot of my gear. Can't exactly recolor my gear every time I want to change setups so just wanna stick with something. Is HoI the best setup for strand farming?

" You can do pretty much fine without HoI setup... It's just a 'little' bonus clear speed which I don't think is really relevant. |
