what would be the parts i most importantly need first?
Reach, then +1 Drillneck. I am using Opus and the 3 additional arrows would greatly improve my map clear speed. And melt bosses even faster.
For some reason people always forget that Opus has 150% crit multi, one of the hardest stats in the game to stack. 2 more arrows, while sacrificing 150% crit multi. Kind of a huge deal, which is why post-nerf Reach is only slightly better than Opus. Reach is only truly much superior in a non-crit build.

Easily Opus. 150% multi is OP.
Okay so really to get the most i can, if i buy a 5L opus for 50c, 6L queen for 7ex, That leaves me around 7ex to play with to get +1 drillneck and my chaos equipment? that would suit me better?
Rather than getting a 5L reach which will be around 5ex so i'll only have 3ex for rings and dying sun etc?

Yes. The Reach is fairly meaningless if you have Dying Sun and +1 Drillneck. You can remove LMP from your setup if you have those two with Opus, meaning you're dealing practically the same/better damage than Reach.
Also, the flat chaos jewelry is the most important part of the base build. Massive DPS to scale poison off of.

Level 80 so far and really loving the build. I currently have a 4L Opus and a 5L Queen of the Forest. I'm not too sure what I should link for my barrage/LA and which should get the 5L. Any recommendations on gem set up?

The original post has all the gem information you could ever need. Lightning Arrow gets the 5L first, Barrage can run off of a 4L. Though Barrage will get the 6L first (your clear should be fine on a 5L, boss killing can always be better however, so we give Barrage the 6L)
I'd just like to pop in and say that using the Witchfire/Diamond flask combo is insane for boosting clear time and I HIGHLY recommend that as an early upgrade at any point in time. Witchfire also gives insanely good survivability when you're running at Mach 3 from the evasion boost.

Yeah the jewelry can be quite expensive too but ive got waiting for me, i know it hasn't got life but il sacrifice a few for the dps and resistances it offers.
I just noticed i already have a death's opus so 25c to 5L it from the prophecy and il be set, can buy 6L queen of the forest, dying sun or +1 drillneck? which is more important as they are both around the same price, if not drillneck more expensive
Really starting to dig this build. I'm guessing the +1 drill neck would be my best upgrade next? Rather than a 6L Queen or dying sun flask.
gear
Dying Sun is a huge DPS boost, but depends on how you feel about flask use and keeping them up. 6L would be a big boost to your single target with Barrage. I would take the 6L before the +1 Drillneck personally.

Reach will boost your AoE and mapping clear speed a lot. It won't be a major boost to single-target, but it's still two additional arrows that Opus doesn't have.

Yeah, if you can get some solid dual-chaos jewelry, it can be a massive DPS boost. Definitely worth the investment.
just a noob question-> Since the build is focusing on chaos dmg, what do you think about Voltaxic Rift Spine Bow.I know it got super nerfed but still 60% more chaos (instead of lightning) it doesnt look bad?
It would need to be a different build. You need to focus heavily on Lightning Damage for the conversion, which completely changes all your gearing needs. You're almost forced into using Wrath, which limits your ability to use Grace for defense. Voltaxis is still really strong, but not for this build.

I'm using a tabula pretty early so i am having trouble with mana (no surprise). do you guys spec into the mana leech cluster (Essence Sap) for lvling ?
I used Essence Sap until I got to the dualist cluster and had the DPS to be efficient with .4% Mana Leech. If you're following the build and the tree, you'll have plenty of respec points to use.
yeah i spec'ed into essence sap, immediately got rid of the mana flask.
Yep, once I got to the dualist nodes, I dropped the last two nodes in Essence Sap, but kept the first .4% node until my DPS could support the single dualist node .
